Working construction is kicking my ass. Probably gonna have to cut back on volume for a little bit.
Hit 145 for 3 solid reps after basically exhausting by chest. I was surprised, expecting maybe 1 rep with some spotter help.

Stamina is key Hanson. Pushups, and lots of them are you're friend. I do 5 sets of 20 every non training days.
Peppermint tea also rocks. Bit of a Hipster London type drink though

I'll consider this, see how it goes.
Deadlifted 245x5, then 265x2 pretty easily after a couple warmup sets. Real happy with that at 150 pounds. I wanna see how fast I get to 3 plates.

You guys should try doing plyometrics on leg day before you do legs. Go right into squats after it.

Aw, I see you have experience in the world of Plyo.

I love plyo and leg exercises, I get a huge benefit from my (admittedly) large legs

The definition does not do what they do justice.
My plyometric circuit is:
Rest 30 - 60 seconds between exercises, do three sets then go right into squats 5x10 without a need to do any type of warm up for them. Follow with two super sets of good mornings and calf raises x3 sets each then reverse hyper extensions and leg extension x3 sets.
My reasoning compound exercises before isolation movements? You did plyo, then you did 50 squats in 5 minutes and now you are finishing off your workout when you are already fatigued. The squat is the power house training the largest muscle group in the body and the finish is an exercise that really separates all 4 heads of the quad.
Functional before aesthetics = a much more productive workout.
My plyometric circuit is:
- Line jumps x10
- 180 Jumps x10
- Tuck Jumps x10
- Depth Jumps x10
- Dynamic step ups x10

those two crack me the f**k up
one of the few youtube channels I watch frequently
last night's warm up for BJJ included a round of suicides STRAIGHT into a round of burpees (with full pushup, not some of this half assed burpees that pussies do)
I don't care who you are, that shit will demolish you (if you push yourself)
wait a second....SHADOW????
good to hear from you buddy, 100 push ups is no f**king joke, good for you

Staked a pipe in the ground outside to wrap battle ropes around. Doing sets of those in the sun is a whole new form of sweating. Great for burnouts and burst cardio. people really like to stop and watch those things move.

Chest and shoulders today. Doing decline elevated pushups as a finishing move for my workout and I had muscle failure mid push and almost face planted, twisted and rammed my leg into the Olympic bar end right below the knee. It is a little ouchy.

Failure is dangerous, but it's the fastest way to improve.
Usually crash when putting pushup bars next to each other instead of shoulder width apart, 1 folds over and fall on face.
Trying to do pushups on a yoga ball and 1 arm finally goes limp, falling off the ball.

Lol, are you trying to mimic diamond pushups by putting the bars close together? Not sure if that is even worth it since the bars will take away any clearance you might want for going deeper. But if that is not the case then try plates, 45 or what have you. Don't know if you are strictly at home or go to a gym also but you can use the leg press 100 lb bars if they have them or yoga blocks are awesome for hand placement stuff.
I know this is for a push up box but the hand placement will stay the same.
And sometimes I will throw in some Isometrics after each set or after the first three sets which fatigues the muscle even more you can really feel the burn in your tri's.
Bodybuilders have been using it for years just under different names but it is middle rep pause. So you go to a point and hold the position and the muscle burns even more then you do a few more reps and do it again, pushing through the pain barrier is what makes you grow. Not sure why they don't call it what it is maybe they cannot pronounce it or it looks like it won't work when they see women doing it without weight.
Funny if you go back to the Arnold days and earlier you can see them doing x reps and all these things that people are coming out with and touting as innovative and new and they slap their own name on like they invented it to make a dollar.

That box looks like an awesome gimmick to buy so it can sit in the corner after 2 weeks.
But yea, usually have to reposition hands after 5-10 reps because left delt hurts with repetition. I've seen at least 2 other people fall off the push up bars trying to do them close together lol
Found it, $40
