Only problem with those dips is finding a machine with a decent shoulder width. The 2 I got for home were too wide and put too much stress on the shoulders. They would start hurting before the tris were burning out.

Pair em up. Chest/tri
Back/bi
legs/shoulders
You can always do pushups, pull ups if theres something over head.

#31521Can't really pair up.
Monday and Tuesday.
Leaving Wednesday Morning.
Can probably do 20 pushups, 5 pullups(If I can find a spot) and some dips, calf raises and squats. And some twist twist.
Got no weights, so guess I'm doing them with body weight.
Could probably hit the whole body on tomorrow and rest tuesday.

Otis, fk yo 5x5 idea.
New burns, new gains.
My bench that used to struggle to hit 7 reps is now my warm up set. Whatever a plate +35 is, that used to be last set for 4-5 reps. Just loaded it up for 1st set, racked it on 7 to not wear out with 4 sets left to go.

so what youre telling me is that you tried my 5x5 idea? or no?
a standard 45 pound bar with a plate +35 is 205 pounds.

lol
fair point, I do the same thing with boxes after getting a delivery...takes them a couple of hours of jumping in and out, then they attack and leave shards everywhere

So you don't 5x5 the entire routine? Just the heavy muscle.

correct. 5x5 is for strength gains, you still need to throw in some 10 rep exercises to stimulate mass growth.

So 5x5, is like a pyramid? Start low, then add, add again, then drop, and drop for final set? Will give it a go because I'm fairly skinny and chest really needs to strengthen. Been on 60kg (130lbs) on flat bench for ages and I still struggle.
Do you rest between sets btw? And should I add two kg's for me?
Moving to dumbbells now for bench. Suggested starting weight for dumbbells if I do 130lbs flat bench and intend to do 5x5?

35/40/45 Make sure your form is in check and your shoulders can handle the lift and decent. Then add accordingly. Better if you have a spotter. They can grab your wrist when you start failing, that little bit of support can get another rep out. And not smash your face.

you are a hardgainer. you need to eat everything in sight because your metabolism is working to keep muscle off your body. when you get stuck on a plateau, thats a sign that you need to change your routine. i got stuck on barbell bench so i switched to dumbbell bench. started out with a 6 rep max of 65 pounders. now im doing a 5x5 with 80s. havent tried barbell bench yet but im sure its gone up.
