if you want some real ass pain, do stationary lunges. walking lunges dont target your hams and glutes as much as stationary, because you push yourself forward instead of pushing yourself back. stationary lunges makes you push your body backwards into the standing position.

Or you can walk backwards, fire them off in reverse. Usually have to do dumbell lunges, shoulders can't stay in that position very long

What I did today:
Superset of push-ups and kettlebell swings: 5x20 for the push-ups and 5x40 swings of 35 lbs
Followed by
Superset of kettlebell clean and press and goblet squats: 5x20 with 35 lbs on the clean/press and 5x15 with 70 lbs on the goblets
Shit kicked my ass

I think I may have invented a new exercise.
I call it the Hammer Curl Saw. You get done with doing say preacher curls or DB curls and then you go straight to a weight about 10 - 15 pounds lighter and do hammer curls, when you cannot perform anymore hammer curls using proper form you hold them in the half position and move your arms back and forth like you are sawing wood with both arms at the same time. If your arms are fatigued enough it will really hit the whole bicep muscle causing it to burn and pump up. When I get a chance I will have someone demonstrate it.
It works for me doing this arm routine as super sets. Take 45 - 60 seconds rest between super sets and do 4 sets each of

- Leaning bar chin ups. (must concentrate on it being an arm movement and not use your back. Try to squeeze at the top) as many as you can before failure.
- Dips off the bench as many as you can before failure.
Super set 1
- Preacher curl (1up 2down squeeze at the top) 7 - 10
- Dips off the bench. 15 - 20
Super set 2
- DB curl. 7 - 10
- Hammer Curl Saw. However long you can stand the burn.
- Dips off the bench. 15 - 20

Walk I'm horrible with learning through text. If you could make a video that'd be sweet. The way you describe it makes it sound almost like a back exercise towards the end with the sawing motion.
