I can NOT get the Day 3 of Week 2. My shoulders aren't allowing that many pushups. They burn and sting way before triceps tire out.

Can't get over 20 without rest on last set.
Only did 22 on my first test... could have probably done more, but my son was climbing on me whilst I was doing it. Thought it be better to start a bit lower, and work up.
Today was
43 (new test) then 36, 40, 30, 24, 40
Left shoulder is fu*ked though. Did shoulders and back yesterday at the gym, then this today. Chest was that swollen from the pushups it felt like it was going to burst. Got a chest session tomorrow, then more pushups on Wednesday - 19, 19, 22, 22, 18, 18, 22, 45. Will be surprised if I make the 45. Can see me being stuck on this day for a while

Probably me. I had 46 on initial test.
And just like you. I cant do day 1 of week 2 because my shoulders have a pain to them.

was stealth spotting this one guy today. he was doing half assed reps of bench with 135. not even going halfway to the chest. every rep looked like he was gonna drop it on his throat.

That was me a few years back when I first joined a gym. Only could do half a set of that then be burned out. Those were the noob days.

Week 3, day 2 done. Was easier than expected.
Got a f*cking cold though. Feel weak as sh*t, and like i've lost a stone. The scales tell me I haven't. All i want to do is eat carbs

Skipped yesterday. Walked in and saw fridge was open. Everything was room temp, entire contents is in garbage. Guy coming tomorrow to repair fan. Figured with that repair bill and the money to restock, it was worth skipping legs.

#46717So, I did some body fat shit today and I went from a 27 to a 26. A slow race it is. But I also calculated a meal plan I would have to take to shred more fat. To get to the BF I want. Mostly 13-15 BF.
So I calculated this.
Weight: 192
Body fat: 26%
Fat Mass: 49.92lbs
Lean Body Mass: 142.08

Quite close to ditching that chart. Its the heavy volume of reps on the delts that will never progress. The same pain that stops bench press before chest fails, same pain in shoulder press that makes 1 side tilt in weakness.
Can do 3-4 sets of 15-20. That 5th set is so uncomfortable. Doing less now than 2 weeks ago.

As of this morning, 195. That's 40 pounds from my heaviest last December.
For the lack of lifting I've done, BJJ has made my arms and shoulders bigger and shredded. A bit shocked, honestly.

42 initial test, just pounded 57 in a row and had to quit from shoulder on fire. Could have pushed a few more besides that pain.

Every day, I do a different body part.
Shoulders, bis and tris, legs, day off, chest, back, day off, repeat.
It feels good. I'm getting pretty strong and defined. May post some progress pics in a couple of months.
