I looked in the mirror today and got disgusted. No more excuses. Call me a pussy everyday until I reach results.

Did 20 lifting bar thingy's. 20 butterfly arm thingy's. 20 pulling the bar down thingy's. and 20 pulling the bar down in a different direction thingy's.
Not sure what each was called. But felt bored and decided I might as well move the machine. (That exercise machine that I tried to sell months back is still sitting there).
Didnt bother moving the weight. Dont even know what it was at.
The more I read this post back - The more it seems like a female posted. Nothing against female's.
Sounds like you did traps, back, chest, tri, lats, obliques. If your legs hurt tomorrow, you nailed it.

Summa bisch! Was numb, never crossed the mind. I was so ready for free range squats with that olympic bar outside of the cage that I didn't even think to do those.

did an extended workout on Monday
1 hour of Muay Thai.....lots of work on throwing the lead and rear elbow, along with a nifty Jon Jones type elbow off the clinch
1 hour of BJJ class
1 hour of free rolling
I'm still sore as f**k, but I'm going back tonight for more
I've really come to appreciate the difference between striking and ground work....striking is so much more intuitive

The spinning back elbow that generates the power of a chopper in torque? Or the one where he made Rashad look like an ass 3 times in a row by elbowing his face instead of punching?
So a 5K is 3 miles. Nike App keeps up with my runs, said I ran a 25:13 5K. Now that I know, will try to speed that up.

Yeah, the spinning back elbow....slick stuff if you can land it cleanly
5k is technically 3.12 miles...that's a good time for someone who never runs...,damn

Both bad ass if you have arm length
I can't find the one of the KO blow where the guy fell on his face. Can't remember who it landed on

Top one is a standard lead elbow, great for a quick unexpected strike....work that often, as I have pretty long arms
Bottom one was a new technique for me (and exactly what I was trying to describe). I like it a lot

Its a safe escape and surprised more don't use it. You lean in, feels like weight is going for double. Then explode up, your face turns with you and your arm guards half your side, you won't get kneed, and too close for a head kick. So unless he throws a perfectly timed hook on opposite spin side, its a low risk high damage move.

well, I did it....I registered for my first ever tournament
April 5th
Medium Heavy Division (max of 195 lbs) of the Masters II Age Bracket (anyone born before 1978)
When I first thought of doing this, I wanted to get down to the 181 bracket, but I just couldn't get it done....can always try for next time.
Should be a great learning experience, and I really need to go in with no expectations of winning and just have some fun

talked with a couple of my coaches last night, they've got a plan for me to get ready for the tournament
5-7 classes a week (two of those are advanced classes that are right after my fundamentals class, so it would be 5 days of training), along with some light conditioning work on the off days
no Muay Thai class until after, but I'm thinking of hitting pads at home for the cardio aspect
4 weeks to get this shit done

5 days of BJJ, 7 total classes....off days can include some cardio, which I would use for some pad work, but I don't know if I'll be physically able to handle that

I always wash my Gi and rashguard (and other sweaty clothes) as soon as I get home, give no time for bad bacteria to flourish
going to have to buy extra laundry detergent

Use to run a 6:50 mile in high school. 50 lbs ago lol
That's a 7:40 pace for 25 min. Come out the gate fast and every lap slows down, not an endurance runner.

Doing two hours of BJJ at noon, brings my first week of heavy training to a close. Won't lie it was rough. I'm bruised, sore all over (toes especially), and I've lost three pounds. Lol.
Totally worth it
