Yo Shadow how that small island treating you?
I would get a 1070 ti or 1080ti, I went for an RX580 and regretting it now.

#720651070 gpu to go to, priced cut in half since the 2000 series is out. The AMD 2700 or 2700x is best price for performance, if you pumping out cash the stick with Intel even though its more expensive. The new 10nm Intel processors come out next spring, and AMD 7nm cpus are also due next year that could start to surpass Intel if the technology is optimized.

That's a nice setup vibes.
@Pittski - The rumors for the new AMD GPUs are absolutely insane. The Radeon RX 3080 is speculated to be faster than a 1080 and priced at $249.99.

was with the 1060 in benchmarks which was terrible. That was do because they pulled the we will throw a new memory format on our stuff without making sure it works at max value. and the card ended up sucking.

Theoretically it was supposed to be, and in some benchmarks it did manage to keep up. Real world performance was sub par though. In other words, AMD cards still suck

Well, Im glad I didnt go with a Vega series card for Freesync. That's horrible for a $400 card.
@Funk, AMD sucks for sure but their new processors and cards coming out next year could revive the AMD/Intel race.

The threadrippers are total monsters. I had the opportunity to use one and it wrecked everything.

#72084The new 7nm cpus are coming out this summer and I am excited to see what they can do. Their estimated to be 12 core 24 thread processors priced at $379. Also the Navi GPUS that suppose to hit this year too.

Good lord, that's a nice price for something with that amount of cores.
