Got a job working as a cashier at wegmans. Had to go through 3 interviews to get it, which was surprising.
Anyways, I'll be making $7.25 (US) an hour. Any tips on how to handle money? It's something I have literally zero experience with.

Save as much as you can, stAy away from debt
You're still living at home, so you're able to avoid the biggest expense we all deal with, take advantage

Be far sighted with your money.
Think of saving like studying or athletics...you're training yourself to behave a certain way so that it becomes intuitive rather than forced.
Pay cash for things you want, and, do what Rich Dad says: pay yourself first. This means skim savings off every check, and put it away. Don't touch it. Don't budget it into discretionary spending. Pay yourself first, and pay yourself well, leave a little for spending.
Do his long enough and university will feel cheap, buying a car easy, and putting a down payment on a house, painless.
Spend what you earn, live on credit, buy things anticipating future income, learn to live with debt, pay yourself with consumer/material goods and that is what you train yourself to do for the rest of your life.

He said he is a cashier. You put it in the drawer and turn it in when your shift is over.

Yeah, agreed.
First thing first, fancy outfits and Iphones are a waste of money. Stay the hell away from them. Just limit your cloth spending to less than 90$. If you want best results, 30$. Just buy things that cover your body, look quite good and keep you warm.
When you buy something, hold it in your hands and say "Do I NEED this or do I WANT this?". Anything you need should be bought first. Whatever is left, given you already saved some and took the rest, is for what you WANT. I can’t stress this enough.
Of course, these should be only a training of what is to come. Buy shit you like but keep in mind that things may not always go your way and you may end up with no money before you know it.
Also, try to stay from online stores. Seeing money as a number made on my screen me waste 50$ in less than an hour. That shit is crazy. You lose sense of the money unless you are holding it in your hands.
My advice is based on nothing but common sense because I haz no job. Hope I had enough common sense so my answers are right and I hope the worlds has enough common sense so my right answers can be used :p
