Shut up and take my money!

It was a pretty slow day at the office, so I decided to check out a new pawnshop that opened up today. Saw lots of cool guns, but nothing that I couldn't live without (well, except for the 50 cal sniper rifle but that was a little out of my budget LOL). On my way back to the office, I decided to stop by and see a friend's uncle who worked at another pawnshop near my office. As I always do, I asked him if he had any Para Ordnance 45's (the answer is usually no LOL). Today though, he showed my a beautiful Para Ordnance stainless steel P13 (13+1 rounds of 45 goodness) that he was just about to put on display. I still wasn't planning on buying it until he gave me the "friends & family cash price". My response..... "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!!" Here's my new little toy that I picked up during lunch LOL.

Glad to hear that you like yours Otis! I just ordered 2 more factory 13 rnd mags, a box of 45 Ranger Sxt, and 2 boxes of Blazers to practice with. I got the gun with very nice Hogue grips, Fobus paddle holster, and a soft case for $500 out the door (tax & everything). I don't think that I did too bad on it LOL. I've always wanted a hi-cap Para 45, so I can't wait to go to the range and see how it shoots. I can already tell you that it's way more comfortable to conceal it with the Fobus holster than my Glock 23 is with an IWB holster.
Edit: I'm feeding it some Hornady Critical Defense rounds until the Ranger SXT (aka Black Talons) get here.

The good thing is that the Glock 23 and the Para Ordnance P13 are almost identical in size which means I don't have any problem concealing either of them. They both hold the same number of rounds too which is nice (13+1). I've got a Galco IWB holster for the Glock and the Fobus paddle holster for the Para Ordnance. I guess I'm gaining too much weight LOL, but the Galco felt more comfortable today especially when seated. Here's a what they both look like with their holsters.

Both are great guns, but I can't wait to put some 45's down range!
Oh yeah, found this video showing the expansion of a 45 cal Ranger SXT round.
