It's out.
For those of you who have had the opportunity to play what are your first impressions of the game?
Anything that you feel is game breaking or over powered/under powered?
Things you like and things you dislike?
Let everyone know your feelings.

How about map design?
Seemed from the streams, they don't have a ton of upstairs areas.
Also, remember how uncluttered BO was? Is this the same? No random bullshit to get stuck on, like dust, gravel, paper, air....lmao

I'm yet to play, but I've heard that people are getting kicked from games constantly, like pretty much every single game.
Bug that black ops had as well, you'd have thought they would have fixed it.

Maps are like MW3 face off size. Small - Medium.
Some maps has a lot of shit on them, but I've yet to get stuck on nothing.
Curly, I haven't that yet, only problem I have right now after installing nuketown 2025 is that I can't find games no more.

Metacritic reviews are funny. User Score: 3.1/10 for PC, 3.5 for PS3
lol
They're pretty bad: http://www.metacritic.com/game/playstation-3/call-of-duty-black-ops-ii/user-reviews
lol
I've been a loyal COD fan since inception. I was the Sargent for Halloween and I ordered custom bed sheets that replicate my favorite maps. COD is so close to my heart and this BO2 is so terrible i feel sexually violated. After playing level 1 i had the feeling of one who has just taking a dump after getting out of the shower. Level 2 gave the the feeling of the time i slept with that busted indian chick. I did find good use for the game - when i am watching porn and my mom comes in i nail the input key and switch to COD. Because that would explain my hard on, but only because the old CODs gave me a hard on. The only way for us as gamers to fight this tyranny is to short activision stock. I am not a financial person but its silly to believe that Activision is valued at a near market multiple with a declining franchise. i am going to take my college money and buy activision puts, here we come Wharton.

Poor attempt on Black Ops 2. I feel as if I have played this game before and then I remembered... it is exactly the same as the last 3 Call of Duty titles. The player base is still made up of 12 year old boys with squeaky voices. I want to smash my Playstation after only half an hour. And then there is the Xbox exclusive crap that PS3 and PC gamers have to deal with every month as exclusives are cruelly withheld from loyal and paying customers. I strongly recommend you look elsewhere for your FPS urges. If you are on PC, have a look into CS:GO or CoD4 as those two games still have that shine to them as aren't filled with BS gimmicks that are sure to make you smash your hard earned possessions.

most of those reviews sound like they've come from people who haven't even played the game
metacritic is the "yelp" of the video game world (i.e. worthless)

1. No. Shockingly smooth and responsive. I had two xbox's running next to each other using the same WiFi all of last night and bullets were still connecting. Very pleasing.
2. No
3. No. I heard you have to be moving for ghost to work. But it's only on one preset class and you don't unlock it until WAY later in the prestige.
4. It's a new call of duty. You're always going to run into kids sitting in the corners to afraid to learn the maps.
5. None.
The game feels pretty fluid but it can be a LOT more cluttered than Black Ops.

In the internet age, it's far cooler to be a critic than a fan.
It's a universal. If you like something, you're a shithead. If you hate it and post a review of it, you have character and depth.
I'll take y'alls word on the game over some scarf wearing, horn rimmed glasses wearing, gaming critic.
Of course it feels like you've played this game before. It's like hopping into a friends' car and being disappointed that it didn't fly. it's a fcking car ffs.
And mute the kidlets.
Crank up the Adele.

Only played two games so far - one lost connection (someone dashboarding perhaps?) and went negative (but only just!) in the other.
Not a great start then, but a bit too soon to make any worthwhile judgements - gonna have a few more games this p.m. and see how it goes.

Too early to pass judgement. I thought MW3 was the best game ver first week. Wait for the 2 week mark. Than re-ask the questions.

I am really only worried about the combat training. I know they implemented it into multi-player as a further attempt at behavior control of the people that buy the game. However what I do not know is if you can play against just the bots like you could in the original BO. Any confirmation of yes you can or no you cannot would be appreciated

Ive seen videos pre-launch of people playing against bots in CT. This was before servers were up and running though.
EDIT Also disconnects are to be expected. Status still says Defcon 3. Do not know if they forgot to change it or what?
