Way too British for my taste. Then again, I can't remember an opening ceremony that I enjoyed

I think paul mccartney was an easy option. It was boring to see him on stage AGAIN. I mean the guy is legend but he closed the queens show aswell and it seemed a bit old.
This weekend featured me trying to fix my damn computer..pizza and gaming.

Cage fights were better than UFC PPV.
3 KOs, a solarplex punch that put a guy in fetal position and broke the other ones hand, a leg launch holding on the guys wrist and dislocated his shoulder (stood up and it was hanging 4 inches lower than the other with him screaming in pain), a spinning back kick that lifted the other guy off the ground and threw him against the fence (he didn't get up), a 265 vs 225 lb fight of powerful knees on both ends.
Watching on TV really does no justice on how hard these hits land. Blood and sweat fly off of people even on glancing blows. You can hear the wincing on gut shots.
Have a vid of a 8 yr old at our table break dancing to all the intro music. They even spot lighted him and another kid came out the crowd for a dance off.

one of the trivial pursuit questions I got at my friend's place this weekend was
"what part of the giraffe doesn't have spots"
they did not accept "asshole" as an answer
I told them to show me it's wrong

Not much going on this weekend. Was reminded last night that I committed myself to helping a friend build some shelves. Wish I had known work would be so slow right now, I would have insisted on a little cash, rather than working for beer lol.
Other than that, might spend some time out back watching my sad little garden die a slow death.

Not much, just two zucchini plants. Its really just a learning experience, being its my first time trying grow anything. Depending on how it goes, next year I'll try more veggies.

Went to a concert last night, got really drunk, but have today off. Great show though (Slash featuring Myles Kennedy).
No big plans for the rest of the weekend, maybe go see the "Total Recall" remake

From what I have seen it looks like it might turn out to be a pretty alright movie, regardless of what the "ITS NOT ARNOLD" crowd says.

Change in plans. Not going shooting and not doing anything hopefully.
I realized that for the past 3 months I have been training hard and except for the occasional dinner with a "friend" I have been eating clean.
So I decided to let go a little today. Bought some Guinness Extra Stout in the bottle (12oz not that pansy shit) bought a huge steak and some pasta.
I am now watching Lockout with Guy Peirce. And I am buzzed on 1 and a quarter beer so far.
