Mw2 was easy to de-camp people.. plus like Alpha mentioned - we screwed off in that game more than any other game.
Ghosts has the same community, but less BS than the other games listed after it. Thats why its so high on my list.
BO1 HQ lobbies were probably the most fun ive ever had playin COD. We ran the points up high than played TDM. Massive scoring games and curb stomping every time.
Had WaW.. didnt play it as much, so it didnt make my list. lol.

Lol. I agree with Z.
Ghosts had a major price drop like 4 months into the game. Lol. Many comentators already went back to bo2.

^^^ This! The only thing Treyarch ever got right was Zombies, their MP always sucked ass. I had high hopes for Ghosts since it was going to be made by IW, but after glancing through the Support streaks, they added in even more training wheels for bad players than TA did in BO1 & BO2. It wouldn't surprise me if the next COD game has an aimbot as a killstreak you can earn LMFAO!
It was fun to go back and play some COD4 the other day though, it made me remember how much fun & addicting COD used to be. If I could figure out a 100% way to force host without hacking in some of the other CODs, I might play them again too but I don't want to have to deal with hacked lobbies. Rest in peace Call of Duty, you will be missed!

Yeah, the Mak we knew was from New York. I'm pretty sure he was only famous in his own mind though and I'm 99% positive that he was White LMAO!

CoD4, MW2, Ghosts, the rest.
CoD4 because it was perfect. MW2 despite the bull. Ghosts only because it's actually a good game - the player base just sucks.
The problem is that they keep trying to reinvent the wheel.

killstreaks are utterly useless in Ghosts, unless you get the Helo Pilot on a select few maps like Prison Break, Warhawk and Dome.

The community is gone. It peaked around MW2 and BO. I've noticed a steady decline in people's interest in group gaming in COD after those games. Look at sites devoted to that kind of think. C4B used to be outrageously busy, now it doesn't even exist. We never grew like we desired to (even though now we see that our little group is the way to go). I don't think there is another game out there that had the kind of community that COD had in its glory days, and there might never be.
Another thing is that COD became more of a "pick up and play" kind of game. The guns are all the same now. Remember back in MW2 trying to use the F2000 or whatever it was called? And in BO you had a variety of interesting ARs (Galil, Commando, G11, Enfield, AUG were all unique weapons). MW3 had the M4, G36c, Remington R5 all with unique traits. BO2 was were weapons starting morphing into a variant of the same basic gun. No gun really stands out in that game. And Ghosts? lol they are all made up guns that perform exactly the same. Just pick some letters, add a dash, and then put some numbers and you have Ghosts assault rifles. There is no skill involved in learning the nuances of the variety of weapons because there are no nuances. I couldn't care less about picking weapon, attachment, and perks for specific classes because I'll get the same score regardless. Only thing I make special classes for is sniping and SnD.

Very true Vette! I remember back in MW2, if you ended up getting online late you would have to wait until someone signed off before you could join the C4B party. Some of the most enjoyable games I ever played in COD though were when I ended up joining a session and facing a full C4B team! You never had to worry about campers, and it really tested your skill when you had a pack of 6 hungry lions running around the map trying to kill you LMAO! In fact, I was cleaning out my HD the other night and found a game that I'd completely forgot about recording from the glory days of C4B. You know it was an old game just by looking at my rank LOL. Enjoy the memories!!!!

The glory days of C4B truly were the best. I was just thinking while at work today (remembering I was reading this thread in the morning) about how I have so many good memories of specific games on MW2 and BO (and even a few MW3) that really stand out. But for BO2 and Ghosts I don't really have anything that stands out as particularly exciting. The gameplay back then was so much faster I've noticed. When 6 of us were playing (especially with Alpha) you had to be sprinting all the time to even get double digit kills because the other 5 would vacuum up enemies.
Oh, and COD is especially dead on Youtube. COD Youtubers views are WAYYYY down. Can't say I'll shed any tears for them though. Some guys like Woody have made it due to other material and halfway interesting commentary, but I think in general people are sick of watching COD. I know I got over the whole "watch someone play COD and talk about something stupid that I'll forget about 5 minutes later anyways" thing around the BO days.

When the spawn trapping knowledge was useless, the kills balanced out tremendously.
Usually the 1st person who died was screwed chasing flip spawns the entire game. One game a person with 28 kills would get 6 because there was NO ONE AROUND. You're the last dog in the pack and only caught stragglers.
If you could get your 5 or 7 really fast, you were set the entire game.

I honestly never remembered using Marathon Pro in MW2 until I found that old vid last night LOL. You're right though, it was pretty much a requirement for playing with C4B or you weren't going to get ANY kills! Oh yeah BTW, FuQ for Commando knifing me in that vid bro at 4:05 and ending my streak against y'all LMAO!!!!

IF you arent using a Remmington, MTAR or Vector in Ghosts you are putting yourself at a huge disadvantage in the game. To say every gun is the same shows how little you actually know.

Why those guns? Because thats all you see the "pro" players use when playing on LAN against eachother? lol. They must have done there research, so those must be the strongest guns. Doesnt mean the other weapons in the game are hard to use. Every gun in the game is pick up and play easy.

I was answering the asinine comment that all guns in ghosts are the same. Sure the guns are easy to use, the PM9 in mw3 was easy to use but you didnt see many using it because it was arguably the worse smg in the game. Why put yourself at a disadvantage? That's just cause for a headache and a broken wall.

I didn't notice a huge difference between the guns in ghosts. They are all easy to use and kill in 2-4 shots.
Winning gun fights comes down to connection, reaction time, and map awareness.
