Extinction - Classes

#53659Extinction is a game mode featured in Call of Duty: Ghosts. The game mode features up to four players fighting aliens in a post-apocalyptic world. Players have objectives, which are to destroy the Alien Hives, arm the Nuke and escape.
CLASSES
- Engineer - Provide armor for the drill and earn more bonus cash.
- Medic - Revive allies more quickly.
- Weapon Specialist - 20% more bullet damage.
- Tank - 25% more health.
In Extinction, you start with a Pistol of which you have 4 choices; P226, .44 Magnum, M9A1, MP-443 Grach. Then you have special abilities assigned to each direction of the d-pad and each special ability can be upgraded up to 4 times. You can also buy weapons scattered throughout the map and/or upgrade your pistol as well.
AMMO TYPE - UP on the DPAD
- Spoiler:
Ammo - Refill bullet weapons to 40% of max ammo.- Upgrade 1 - Refill bullet weapons to 70% of max ammo.
- Upgrade 2 - Fills the team's weapons ammo stock to the maximum.
- Upgrade 3 - Fills the current clip before adding max ammo.
- Upgrade 4 - Ammo regenerates for all players within a 20ft radius of the box.
Stun Ammo - Gives 30% max stock Stun ammo to all weapons.- Upgrade 1 - Gives 40% max stock Stun ammo to all weapons.
- Upgrade 2 - Gives 50% max stock Stun ammo to all weapons.
- Upgrade 3 - Gives 60% max stock Stun ammo to all weapons.
- Upgrade 4 - Gives 70% max stock Stun ammo to all weapons.
Incendiary Ammo - Adds 30% max stock Incendiary ammo to all weapons.- Upgrade 1 - Gives 40% max stock Incendiary ammo to all weapons.
- Upgrade 2 - Gives 50% max stock Incendiary ammo to all weapons.
- Upgrade 3 - Gives 60% max stock Incendiary ammo to all weapons.
- Upgrade 4 - Gives 70% max stock Incendiary ammo to all weapons.
Explosive Ammo - Gives 30% max stock Explosive ammo to all weapons.- Upgrade 1 - Gives 40% max stock Explosive ammo to all weapons.
- Upgrade 2 - Gives 50% max stock Explosive ammo to all weapons.
- Upgrade 3 - Gives 60% max stock Explosive ammo to all weapons.
- Upgrade 4 - Gives 70% max stock Explosive ammo to all weapons.
Armor Piercing Ammo - Gives 30% max stock Armor Piercing ammo to all weapons.- Upgrade 1 - Gives 40% max stock Armor Piercing ammo to all weapons.
- Upgrade 2 - Gives 50% max stock Armor Piercing ammo to all weapons.
- Upgrade 3 - Gives 60% max stock Armor Piercing ammo to all weapons.
- Upgrade 4 - Gives 70% max stock Armor Piercing ammo to all weapons.
- Upgrade 1 - Refill bullet weapons to 70% of max ammo.
TEAM SUPPORT - DOWN on the DPAD

Team Explosives - Explosives for the team. 2 semtex +1 ammo for launchers.- Upgrade 1 - 2 canister bombs +2 ammo for launchers.
- Upgrade 2 - 2 bouncing betties +3 ammo for launchers.
- Upgrade 3 - 4 claymores + 4 ammo for launchers.
- Upgrade 4 - 4 bouncing betties +5 ammo for launchers.
Feral Instincts - Team boosters for heightened vision and hearing. See enemies through walls.- Upgrade 1 - Move 20% faster while boosted.
- Upgrade 2 - Regenerate health faster.
- Upgrade 3 - Increases the boosters duration by 2x.
- Upgrade 4 - Increases the boosters duration by 3x and adds increased sprint endurance.
Armor - Deployable light armor available to all team members.- Upgrade 1 - Light armor with double the effectiveness.
- Upgrade 2 - Medium armor, capable of withstanding tremendous force.
- Upgrade 3 - Maximum armor for the team.
- Upgrade 4 - Extra reserve armor provides additional protection for the team.
Team Booster - Team booster that speeds up weapon handling for 15 sec.- Upgrade 1 - Team booster that speeds up weapon handling for 30 sec.
- Upgrade 2 - Team booster that speeds up weapon handling and drill repair for 30 sec.
- Upgrade 3 - Team booster that speeds up weapon handling and drill repair for 45 sec.
- Upgrade 4 - Team booster that speeds up weapon handling and drill repair for 60 sec.
Random Supplies - Random supplies for the team that become more effective at higher levels.- Upgrade 1 - A random mix of +1 level support items as well as a variety of rare items.
- Upgrade 2 - A random mix of +2 level support items as well as a variety of rare items.
- Upgrade 3 - A random mix of +3 level support items as well as a variety of other items.
- Upgrade 4 - A random mix of +4 level supplies. Rare items are more common.
- Upgrade 1 - 2 canister bombs +2 ammo for launchers.
STRIKE PACKAGE - RIGHT on the DPAD

I.M.S - The Intelligent Munitions System detects and eliminates enemy combatants.- Upgrade 1 - Four explosives each with a wider radial blast.
- Upgrade 2 - An enhanced targeting mechanism for quicker firing of explosives.
- Upgrade 3 - Improved explosives for a large scale damage increase.
- Upgrade 4 - Increased capacity allows the I.M.S to contain six explosive canisters.
Mortar Strike - 3 mortars strike with medium damage, small radius.- Upgrade 1 - 4 mortars strike with medium damage, small radius.
- Upgrade 2 - 4 mortars strike with high damage, medium radius.
- Upgrade 3 - 5 mortars strike with high damage, large radius.
- Upgrade 4 - 6 mortars strike with high damage, large radius.
Trinity Rocket - A remote-controlled missile system with controllable thrust.- Upgrade 1 - Improved targeting outlines the enemies.
- Upgrade 2 - Fire a smart drone projectile while controlling the trinity missile.
- Upgrade 3 - Fire two high velocity smart drone projectiles.
- Upgrade 4 - Fire four high velocity smart drone projectiles.
Sentry Gun - Place an Automated Sentry Gun.- Upgrade 1 - Upgraded with improved targeting, a wider firing arc, and double the range.
- Upgrade 2 - Dramatically increases the firing rate of the sentry gun.
- Upgrade 3 - Armor piercing ammo is effective against the Rhino plus 30% more ammo.
- Upgrade 4 - Place two turrets at once with less chance of either of them overheating.
Vulture - A companion drone that protects your six.- Upgrade 1 - The Vulture's turret delivers increased damage to enemy targets.
- Upgrade 2 - Enhanced detectors increases the tracking range of the Vulture's turrets.
- Upgrade 3 - Longer operating time.
- Upgrade 4 - Fires an occasional incendiary rocket.
- Upgrade 1 - Four explosives each with a wider radial blast.
EQUALIZER - LEFT on the DPAD

Portable Minigun Turret- Upgrade 1 - Larger ammo capacity and a much faster spin-up time.
- Upgrade 2 - Maximum damage at all distances, and a slightly larger ammo capacity.
- Upgrade 3 - Armor piercing ammo rips through the headplates of Hunters.
- Upgrade 4 - Maximum ammo capacity and explosive bullets.
Grenade Turret - Manned turret with 10 grenades.- Upgrade 1 - Fire faster grenades and utilize a lager grenade capacity.
- Upgrade 2 - Significantly increased explosive radius and damage for the turret.
- Upgrade 3 - A larger ammo capacity provides more firepower per dollar.
- Upgrade 4 - Equipped with incendiary rockets that will burn their targets after impact.
Crowd Control - Riot Shield with 10 shield health.- Upgrade 1 - Riot Shield with medium speed and 15 shield health.
- Upgrade 2 - Riot Shield with fast speed and 15 shield health.
- Upgrade 3 - Fast Riot Shield melee with 20 shield health.
- Upgrade 4 - Fire melee with 25 shield health.
MK32 Launcher - Powerful 6 round grenade launcher.- Upgrade 1 - Blast Shield prohibits grenades from damaging the player.
- Upgrade 2 - Faster Movement and explosions have a larger radius.
- Upgrade 3 - Fire grenades do increased damage.
- Upgrade 4 - Doubles the grenade count to 12.
Death Machine - Portable Minigun with 100 rounds.- Upgrade 1 - Recoil is dampened.
- Upgrade 2 - Movement speed is increased and ammo can pierce the head plates of Hunters.
- Upgrade 3 - Fire rounds inflict increased damage.
- Upgrade 4 - Doubles the ammo count to 200.
- Upgrade 1 - Larger ammo capacity and a much faster spin-up time.
There is currently only one map to play which is Point of Contact. I'm expecting more from DLC. You guys should play this.

Played a couple times. I don't really know what I'm doing. Adding skill points mid game and such. I pretty much randomly click. Lol

When I finally figured out how to upgrade in game (paid attention) I started to get the hang of it. Maxed out stun ammo one time and it really ****s with the scorpions.
Today nobody in lobby (solo search) was engineer so I decided to give it a whirl.
I'm averaging 48k xp a game in it.
