Ok, so, we all gripe about quickscopers and gripe about campers and we gripe about large maps.
Large map + assault rifle + hider perks + camping = game reaching time limit, and/or a loss for us.
How do me, Godz, Syn, and Natas get sht wiped by a bunch of corner hugging noobs? We try to play OUR game on THEIR map.
We have had limited success with this strategy throughout recent COD large maps.
Since no one is going to move in those games, we need to pull out some mfcking strategy...
If we're running 6, put 4 on snipers, advancing slowly. Put 2 with silenced AR's and they push ahead faster. We can still play our rush spawn, clean out, turn around and repeat, but, we do it at a slightly slower pace.
I honestly think that the large maps were brought in to bring back a legitimate sniper. I think we need to play that way. I've never seen maps so fcking large....it's retarded to think that this was intended as a QC map. Long, wide...like my cak. No central fighting location (which may come), so, it's just bullsht after bullsht if we try to play our CQ game against window sitters who have 74 windows, 4 building levels, and 83 hectares of space to look down on.
I'm going to bring in a long range sniper role for those maps and hopefully make them less painful. I think we should consider it as a viable option for 1) avoiding time limit expirations 2) avoiding losses to inferior players who take up superior lookouts and never move 3) make the map play in a way that (I hope) they intended it to play.
Y'dig?

i get what you're saying kaz which is why i tend to just back out if it's stonehaven or something. but i play mainly kill confirmed or domination, and you find people will go for the objective. you do get your campers but most people will play for objective. i played tdm on some larger maps and it's boring as hell.
but it's a good way to get some sniper practice :p

quick scoping has never been easier. I just run around with a thermal chrome L115. The hitboxes are ginormous <---- Chrome seems that as a real word btw weird.
Stonehaven is a great map. Cap A and C... have 3 dudes with thermal snipers and you will never lose.
