Been a rumor since blops 1. I seemed to get host less when streaming netflix to my phone but it could have just been a placebo.

It worked for me in MW3. Also, I once played BO on my buddies shitty DSL connection, and it probably ran better than on my cable.

I tried it on mw3, I had 6 twitch tv streams going, 2 YouTube streams going. Game played like shit, left.... I was host.

i remember everyone would sandbag their connections on black ops for PS3. if you were host you had VISUAL framerate drops AND connection lag.

There is a program called UDP Unicorn. It sends DOS attacks to your own network.. in whatever amount of packets you choose. So in actuality you are bogging down your own network.
I tried it in a few different amounts in MW3. I got 2 bars on a heavier amount. I lessened the attack and got 3 bars. However, I noticed no difference... if anything it was worse.
