the story is fantastic, they do a great job making you interested in the story/characters
it's their control scheme which sucks...melee system is awkward, response is sluggish and does more to get you killed than the enemy does
also, a bit more action would be nice..playing for an hour yields 30 minutes of cut scenes, 20 minutes of looking around, 10 minutes of "action"
and "best game", come on......to give this game a 10 is some hype buying BS
Far Cry 3 beats the shit out of that game 10x over

Not a Naughty Dog game, but Gran Turismo will most likely be a PS4 exclusive.
The best console racing game there is imo

ah, gotcha
have you tried "Blood Dragon"?
game was beyond fun

LOL, all this time you were crying for demos :p
"He then goes on to detail a Family Sharing feature of the Xbox One that has been scrapped due to the change in policies. The feature would have allowed Xbox One owners to share their game libraries with other family members, regardless of their location. However, the engineer reveals that Family Sharing would only let family members access a "demo mode" of the game for between 15 mins and 45 mins, and in some cases an hour. After that time, the shared game would cease and a user would be forwarded to a marketplace to purchase the full game."

I knew something was fishy all along. That is 540$ [ If they price of one game is 60$ ] in lost money if MS or anyone pulls such a move. Not saying the idea is bad but it is not what XBOX fans have been crying about nor is it what the media reported. ****ing two faced MS.

at least Microsoft is making an effort to please their consumers rather than rush a product out the door like Sony did years ago...

Open google and type "MS changes XBOX One DRM policies". Read any pro-XBOX or a not anti-XBOX comment on the page you opened. The demo mode thing is good but, PS+ already has that and PC as well. It is a good idea but, it is being reported the wrong way. Kinda like Sony small ass text telling us we need to pay to play online. That is just cheap.
Eh, everyone does an effort doing anything. What counts is the results.

Wait, so you need to pay 60$ to get a XBOX LIVE account to watch netflix and other streaming apps.
And of course you will need a video game to go with all that.
Does not that total to a 620$ price point before tax? Unless you like a 500$ brick, you will need tp pay at least 560$ just to make it work. Never mind that you just bought a gaming console without any games.
May god help our friends down under.

Yeah, it is the price of one game but the thing is, a 560-620$ console is too much. This like the PS3 all over again.
On the PS4, it would be 400$ + 5$/60$ + 60$. Depending on weather you like online or not and what game you will buy, it is 465$-520$.
That is a lot of difference between both minimums and maximums. That is some serious cash we are talking about. MS are far too arrogant to release a non-kinect X1 which will be 100$ cheaper. And do not tell me the system is built around voice commands. The system was DRM based and look at it now.
All I am saying is someone is smoking some strong stuff at MS. They should really re-think this. I am sure some people are ready to change consoles to save 100$ or maybe even more.
It just pisses me off how many mistakes they are making!

They're trying to give everyone a Kinect so it can be more fully implemented into the system and games. There isn't a lot of development for it now because not everyone has one.

We may not like it, but they're trying to grab the motion control, living room, family gaming market. And we suffer a little because of that.

#44325That's going to be their downfall I think. That crowd is already taken and that crowd definitely isn't paying $500 for a console when they can get a Wii that does the same thing for what now? $150?Heros wrote:We may not like it, but they're trying to grab the motion control, living room, family gaming market.
