More PITA. After weeks of dome and weeks of tape jobs, week of rubbing some ointment on ears and massaging them to stand up. Weird. Think the vet is laughing at this one. Handjobs on ears.

Separation anxiety: When you're bringing your kid to school on a 10 min round trip and this is what you open door to. Go lay down he says. He'll be right back he says. I'll show that bastard to leave me home again.

Keep your friends closer, and your enemies ... at your diner table?

Made 5 months yesterday, topped 50+ lbs last week. Bastard is getting MEAN. As in, can't go to PetSmart anymore, can't go through drive-through, have to leash walk in yard if neighbors are out. Absolutely no stranger can get in the door if he's loose, goes buck nuts with hair up and teeth showing.
Looking at different obedience classes. More of aggression classes than routine task. I can handle a badass dog, I don't want a badass dog around my kids and other kids.
And then, a cute pose to throw confusion in the mix.

Went to 1 obedience group class, not what he needs. Basic commands will come later, this bastard needs his balls cut off. No more PetSmart trips after he growled and showed teeth to an employee and then again to the manager followed by 'back the fk up' barking when he came up to ask if he bit.
Final straw was yesterday morning. I went to lock him up at 5am to go fishing, he went in cage and started whining/barking. Told him to shut up, kept up, went to walk towards cage to tell him again and he growled at me then showed his teeth. I flung the cage door open, grabbed him by the throat and close fist punched him in the face. He pissed all over himself and backed to corner. (I know you don't beat an aggressive dog, on the other hand I WILL NOT own a dog that shows any form of threat to me)
So, he has 1 on 1 aggression classes starting next week. The trainer is coming to my house to enter as a complete stranger and deal with his reactions. For still being a 'puppy' and now 60lbs, this shit has got to be controlled now.
And here's another, awwe he's too sweet to sound like Cujo, pic.

#43036Damn! That's an aggressive dog.
Mine did that growl and show teeth to me when she was a puppy, beat the crap out of her to show her who is boss. Needless to say she hasn't done it to me again. Just like you, I don't like a dog(that i own) who shows any sign of aggression to me.
I got to show yall what I use to hold my dog. Not rope, not cable, not dog lease, I use a chain. lol
Wish I had some obedience and aggression classes here for her.
All she knows is sit, lay down, paw, kiss, attack(my favorite), walk, and who's there.(We all know after a while you can tell who is in your yard just by how your dog acts)
Edit: Alpha, your dog looks like he will soon get that cat. lol

She's a pitt right? Common and expected to stand their ground. Always thought they were bred retarded and would flip at any moment.
Keep reading about positive re enforcement, but I don't know what you're suppose to applaud to a pet taunting you. I respond like its a person, show respect - get respect. Show aggression and possible to attack - get attacked 1st, assertive and commanding. Expect retaliation - get the upper hand ASAP.

alpha if classes don't work, you gotta get rid of the doggie especially with your son at "head height".

#43045Kept one of my dogs puppies, they're bernese mountain dog / lab mix. He'll be a month old tomorrow. A lot of handling (especially when he's eating) is doing great for him. He loves other pets and people.

Yea, different breed.
This is next door, but way bigger than 110 lbs.

looked at pics, probably about 5 n half feet on hind legs. Gave her some height, but she's much bigger than my 100 lb Akita was. Only aggressive in yard, big baby outside her territory. Same temperament?
