So with the new influx of ps4 players (Syn, Natas, Godz), we've gotta get them all caught up on the art of the raid
I'm off from Christmas Eve until January 3rd, so I'll be around plenty, but who else wants in on taking them through all three raids?

The 3 of us each have at least 2 characters at 40 and can push 300 light with a little gear swapping. My highest is 302 on my warlock, which is my go to. I think Syn may have his Titan up to about 310. Godz is sitting right around 300 i think on one of his characters. We made it thru to the warpriest but that is as far as we got, had kind of a rag tag crew with no idea what we were doing. We barely prepped for it and actually did a bit better than i thought we might, shits tough but a full party would help, think we had 4 one time and made it to the priest but it was a struggle and with 5 it was much easier, with 6 I'm sure we can own the darkness.

#69675Yea, I am 307 when I stopped I can help out with the raids, with those levels we should be able to 4man run VoG easily, maybe even Crota. We will prob still need a full group for Oryx, the hardest part of oryx is the ogre.
The two people I ran with I don't think play anymore. one is in Star Citizen Alpha, other I dunno what hes doing. @chisa you know if Squirrel still plays? That would save us from a random, one of the weekends I can prob get my friend to play since I know he still plays and needs to do the raid still. I just have to get him to 290ish.
When we do the Oryx raid make sure you have Hunger Pains and the other hunger quest, you will need I think 30 Fragments maybe 45 to get final part of the quest. It is for the Touch of Malice, which if two of us have it, we can kill the wizard bosses in 3 turns the safe way. I have mine.
The War priest you want 2 people top node, 2 people middle node and 2 people right node. The top left 2 people kill the enemies on the left side, the 2 in middle and the 2 in the right do the same on their sides. One person in the middle calls out which node to step on first when the war priest starts that ritual. one person on each side has to stay on the plate when called when the final plate is called out the person who takes control of the aura it gives stands on the last plate(node). Once he does that himself and everyone heads to the middle does not kill any enemies and in the aura you damage the war priest. ( The goal is to keep him stunned) While everyone else is shooting the WP, the person who has the aura has a count down timer, in order to reset the timer he has to kill the enemies still floating around. If he doesn't kill a enemy within the timer, he dies. After a period of time the aura disappears and the war priest does his wipe move. During this you all stand in the shadow of the middle pillar and will be safe. once he finishes his move the middle pillar will be wiped and the process starts all over again. The second round we usually grab the aura and go onto the right platform. and then the final one we go back to middle and go for the kill.

Squirrel could jump in and give us a lift one of the nights. We will just have to coordinate a time.
We put very minimal damage on the warpriest when we played. Im pretty sure we all understood the concept of what to do.. but actually doing it effectively we fell apart with only 4 or 5 players. :/

With a couple of people who know what they're doing, war priest is quite easy

I'd be willing to help round out a fireteam. VoG and Scrota are no problem, only ran Kings Fall once completely before the gas tank hit E.
