Party Issues
Sat Nov 14, 2015 2:09 pm
#69341I have noticed when running solo and I'm the only one on my connection, parties work just fine. However, it does not like to work when I have more than connection playing BO3 on my router. Trust me... I've done everything.. all ports are forwarded and even tried putting one IP in the DMZ.
It will only give connectivity to ONE person on the router... like it's confused about what IP its supposed to be giving. I've kept everything the same connection and hooked up Halo 5, Titanfall and Destiny and all those games I join parties with people on the same router with no issues whatsoever which makes me believe it's a CoD issue.

Couple things ive read.
DO NOT FORWARD PORTS when using multiple consoles on 1 network. Because this is supposed to only allow the listen ports for the IP you specify. WHatever reason it will not work with 2 IP's I guess. Do not use DMZ neither, as it does the same thing.
What you need to look for in your router settings is port triggering. Its a different setting than forwarding. Check and see if you have that available and it may help.
Again, ive tried multiple things in the past with nat types and connection issues.. things dont usually work the way they are supposed to. So im not holding my breath on this fixing your issue.

That helps... not at all. lmao.
Customer support doesnt know shit.
Better off browsing the web and looking for answers. I was trying to get Godz Nat type to Open. He upgraded his internet and in the process went form open nat to strict. His new Modem/Router must block ports needed, and even after forwarding the appropriate ports, his shit still remains strict. And his current modem/router wont allow DMZ.
Lame.

#69382I don't think they know what the problem is and don't ever try to fix it. Seems to be normal of Treyarch. BO has Major PC issues and promised mod tools and never even bothered to try to fix. The Huge memory leak still goes on today for those who try to play that game.
