Tracker Sight on SMG's

We all know every smg plays "second fiddle" to AR's in Ghosts. But I think I found a setup that makes them viable on all most every map! I've tried this out on the Vector and Mtar. Muzzle break is nice but the added kick it causes blocks your FOV and you lose track of your target. I slapped on the Tracker Sight and flash suppressor. The key to this is the tracker sight's built in iron sights. There is no recoil and I've consistently been able to kill at those long range shots for smg's.
If you are tired of AR's and want to try out something different, try this. It's like the mp7 with kick from mw3 days. A fuckin laser beam.

ROFL! Holy shit!
It's like cheating! (Even the MP7 with kick wasn't this damned laser like)
I had a few squad points to spare, so I unlocked the MTAR, slapped a tracker and flash suppressor on it, and made a pure, speed, rusher class. (agi, mara, stalker, scav)
I'm getting more reliable kills at DISTANCE than I do with ARs. And with zero sway, I can even get pinpoint accuracy while moving in any direction.
I was having a horrible night tonight. Finally decided to try this out on Freight (a map I despise, btw, for the pathological camping that goes on in it). I played like the Honey Badger. I didn't give a ****. Just sprinted every damned place and mowed down anyone in my path. Moving so fast, the campers started trying to find me, but I was already gone, circle back, kill them again from behind. Then they start hiding even harder. But if it's a spot I know, you're dead anyway. Had the best match of my short Ghosts career so far. Nothing Syndrome worthy, but pretty damned good for me (and fun!). The only way I was dying was to BS "we're going to spawn someone where you just were 3 steps ago," and the occasional IED that I learned the hard way: even with agility and marathon, you're not getting over it. (doh!)
Got my first hate mail as a result too. Apparently, I'm an asshole for running around. LOLOLOL
In short: expect this to get nerfed/fixed real damned fast. If I can do well with it, most of the guys here will be unstoppable wrecking machines. More so than they already are.

IW said they aren't nerfing any weapons. They feel that all the guns are balanced, which I totally agree with.

Incog not only works, it makes you even harder to spot compared to just seeing an enemy through a RDS or VMR sight. Great perk.Chisa wrote:The IR scope needs to be nerfed, badly

Does Incog protect you against the tracker sight?
If it does, and the IR sight, I might have to put it on most of my classes. LOL

Having to use a perk to counter an attachment is exactly the type of bullshit that has driven me from the game. I'd rather play something else that doesn't force you to react to shit that makes the game simplehiph0pan0tamus wrote:Incog not only works, it makes you even harder to spot compared to just seeing an enemy through a RDS or VMR sight. After hearing smoke talk about how great the bulldog is, and I got owned by it at close range by this one guy over and over repeatedly during a game - I setup the class this guy had set up. Its pretty monster at close range. So maps that you can keep areas tight on.
I cant remember what Smoke said he setup, but mine went as follows:
