Alright, lets here it. How often do you have to dust off the left analog stick from rushing? And how often do you have to buy a new controller from rubbing off too much of it? lol
Me, I have to dust it off pretty much once a night, but mostly because I'm a neat-freak (sorta). Its not too bad until 2 or 3 nights of playing with y'all.

New PS3 and new controller. Lots of white dust collecting around analog and D-pad.
A nice groove is forming on the top part of the controller and the analog stem is getting carved out nicely.
I find I mash a lot more with BO, not having unlimited sprint like in MW2.
My marathon works maybe 30 of the time. Otherwise, it plays like some other perk has been set up in that class, so I am constantly banging the analog stick up against the front to convince it to make my character move faster.
I dont' know if this controller will make a year, given how it looks after 3 months.

Ive spent $1700 on new PS3's since 07.
You think the damned controllers that came with them might last longer than 6 months.

No its from all the wear. Like Kaz mentioned... I tend to slam my analog up.
How many people slam there analog forward waiting for the game to start... 10,9,8,7,.
Mines held forwards lol.
I NEVER get Mara pro. So I do as Kaz does. I constantly put pressure forward.

stick doesn't require 60 lbs of force to get the same motion on screen, you know that right?
just like sex, it's not just pound pound pound...gotta finesse it too boys.

No finesse involved with my controller. Finesse is a campers word.
Its all out pressure lol. Its not really the constant pressure forwards, its the constant slamming my analog forwards over and over lol. Takes its toll. I bet my controller would last longer if i had mara pro lol.

I have to wipe down my controller every now and then, to get a grip on it. I hate playing with sweaty hands.
and i need a drink to play, or I go stale. quick.
and I haven't bought a remote control in over a year. i might need to get a new one. preferably the red one.

Yep, during pregame countdown and I've already put more strain on my left analog than most of the ghosting dbags we play against do in an entire gaming session--and I haven't even moved my character yet.
Finesse is for sex.
So is the hard banging.
In COD, it's all about the hard banging.
When marathon craps out on me, I mash even more.
Like that's going to help.
lol

I try not to wear out my LeftAnalog stick, but it's kinda hard. I usually get a controller every 9-12 months.

Yes I clean my controllers every day! Sometimes more than once. I hate the gross stuff that collects.
