Just speaking on my behalf, most people don't pray for an appendage to grow back...

Praying is retarded, regardless of the justification or the rationale.
It's a silent conversation with no one....a non-existent entity that has no ability whatsoever to impact or influence anything in one life or 1 million.
So, pray for an appendage, or pray for Mama's cancer to go away, the end result is the same.
Chisa, if all women still have both legs, then, you clearly aren't progressing as fast as you lead us to believe.

While I disagree with you, I will respectfully acknowledge your opinion.

You wouldnt pray for the appendage. You would pray for the money to buy the fake leg. Or pray that you could acquire the fake leg.
Praying is about believing in faith for me. I rarely pray (actually only when times are super tough). And im not praying for higher power intervention... like a miracle leg to appear out of thin air. It's about a piece of mind. Praying for someone to make it home safe from the war, may be all you can do.. so you will do it.

The point of going to Jiu Jitsu is not to injure everyone in class
lol
There are plenty of people who take faith to it's more irrational ends and see it as a viable resource for solving problems
regardless of what you believe, anything you ever want to do is done through yourself
lol

I agree. But somethings are taken out of your control.
A lot of people do take religion to an extreme.
Dont have to be religious to pray I suppose.
Is it considered praying if you mumble to yourself while driving through a nasty blizzard "God, please let me get home safe". I do that kind of praying a lot. lmao.
Im done talking about religion. I do not have much of a viewpoint on it. Only ever went to church 1 or 2x my entire life.
