I just watched this video from Woody:
I've got to admit that it sounds like it could end up being pretty OP and a little unfair for those of us who won't be buying the DLC this year.

Any word on anything of interest....like kicking the target and mm scanner the fck out of the game, or making the hitboxes the same, regardless of the sight used?
All the guns are sht in this game, expecially the AR's.
But, an LMG with a cheater sight....err'body runs that sht all day err'day.

mtar and type 25 are great guns... but i gotta agree the smg's are far too superior at middle range (where ar's should dominate and smg's should have drop off in effectiveness)

I'll give you the highlights for those that don't want to watch Woody. The new DLC will include a gun called the Peacekeeper. It will have the mobility of a SMG but will have the range of an AR. Supposedly it won't be quite as good as the other SMG's at CQC though. If you don't have the DLC you will still be able to pick the gun up off the ground, you just can't create a class with it.

Hey, now... to whom else can 13-year-old boys turn when they want to know whether they should shave their balls?

That's what I was thinking too Chisa, especially when you start stacking certain attachment combos on it.

basic rule of Treyarch, whatever they're trying to do ends up 10x+1 orders of magnitude worse

I can't say this is a TA thing. Seems more to me a general COD thing.
The thing I notice, is this is an obviously OP gun, available to Create A Class only through DLC purchase.
Why make the DLC gun be like the MW2 F2000? No one would buy the DLC.
Now that OP guns are for purchase, the franchise has taken douchbaggery to another level.
