BO2: Why Are You Not Going to Purchase and or Play it?

We know how this works. We say:
"I am not buying BO2"
"I am done with the COD franchise and not buying this game"
"IW/Trey/Act/Sledge et al. are not getting anymore money from me"
... and then we end up purchasing the game for whatever reason.
Though I have to acknowledge that there are some that say that they are not buying the game and will stick by their convictions.
So as of right now (understanding that it might change in the future) what are your reasons for not purchasing/playing BO2?

I preordered BO2, because I still see Treyarch as the company that tries to put out a decent COD game. I enjoyed BO enough to take a chance on BO2 and it seems fun from what I've seen online.
I will not be purchasing another IW COD though.

Haven't preordered it. Thinking of doing that this week sometime. IW won't get any more of my money.

Not bought it, no interest in buying it. May wait on 1st week of WTF this game is shit, and 1st month of pussy abuse ghost/assassin style fags to find their crutches.

I preordered it, mainly because once 12 months of a game have passed, I need something new.
As much as I hate the game, I love the homies (total homo).

I'm hoping treyarch continues it's tradition of maps that you don't get stuck on everything, no matter how small
new maps, no death streaks, ability to turn off the music and HQ that gives points the way it's supposed to = HELL YEAH

Yeah, I can honestly live with ghost. It's here to stay.
make easier movement on maps, make spawns make sense, give HQ a revival, lose the death streaks, make streaks not stack, not cycle and make QS'ing harder.
Sold.

Still undecided on purchasing BO2. BO was a horrible excuse for a COD game, and I swore that I'd never buy another Treyarch game. I may just stick with COD4, MW2, and MW3 until the next IW game comes out.

IW got my last $60. They are the ones continually taking the game further into the abyss.
An abyss where I am unlikely to return, barring significant overhauls.
They brought us a piece of shit that was laden with assassin, OP guns, sht map design, sht map color, OP streaks, cycling streaks, Death streaks, revenge spawns, leaderboards with no name and shame for farmers, quickscoping, and the worst lag compensation package....ever.
IW makes games for the shitstains (not you Bama) who can barely chew gum and walk, much less operate a gaming controller. It's a gaming experience well below our expertise.

Preordered. Think of it this way, it cant be worse than MW3. I'm tired of MW3, and BO2 is something new and different.

Despite all the bullsh*t with MW3, I've preordered BO2.
Just on the hope that, surely, it's got to be an improvement - I should probably know better at my age .
"If all else fails, a steadfast refusal to look reality in the face will see us through"

I was done with MW3 by January. Seriously.
BO was still fun all the way till the end.
last night was just sad though. 250-0 HQ with pistols only.
Yawn.

They added "Express" mode to black ops at the end. Really should of been added earlier. Kept Blops interesting until the very last play.

At least they added it. That made me want to continue to support TA. They didn't listen to the community by not listening to the community.
IW listens, and then does the opposite.

Boycotting games and their developers before they're out is silly.
We can speculate, whine, hope, and pray, but you'll never know if the game is worth the buck until it is finally out.
The decision I made was simply not buying the game on its release.
From my point of view, and the outcome of the last couple of installments of the franchise,
The game has potential, but I don't trust developers enough to blindly trade $60.
I didn't buy Modern Warfare 3 because I didn't think it was going to live up to it's hype.
Not even after hearing Robert Bowling's famous speech "No more Last Stand".
And I was right. That game looks beyond terrible and no fun at all.
If I'm wrong I can always buy the game, at a lesser price online.
I may even find a version of the game that comes with the Pre-order offer.
Many late players did just that when Battlefield 3 was released last year.
Finally, for those who are waiting like me to make a decision Post-Release,
Don't fall for the honeymoon influence.

I am not necessarily boycotting the game. What bothers me is that the developers are asking people to have faith in them by pre-ordering and then they will be rewarded for their loyalty by being the only ones to get the 2025 map.
Whether that map will become available to someone a month or two down the road I was unable to confirm. So basically if you do not buy a launch copy or a pre order than you might be SOL for the map.
I cannot have faith in a company that does not listen to the community yet expects the community to stand by it.
I guess if people were really worried about it they could pre-order it, pick it up and hold onto it then return it a few weeks later unopened.

Waiting for LA, C4B and friends feedback on matchmaking. If it has matchmaking like MW3 or worse, BO. I ain’t buying it. I have MW3, AC3 and BF3 to keep me happy.
