Was good.
Except for the time it took to find a decent lobby. And when you do find a decent lobby it has 3 assholes in it.
Join a game of DOM. Win. We are not host, host is on other team.
Next game starts. Host calls in Chopper. Then another. I call him on his Bullshit and how if someone says they have next chopper he should honor it. He says he is lobby host and he will do what he wants. Asshole. Both Kaz and I had choppers to call in. Game ends with our team slaughtering. I call him out on being trash. He says he topped the lobby.
I pointed out we beat him the game before even when he had host.
He continued on with "I topped the lobby"... even though he barely finished ahead of me whoring the airspace.
Asshole players. Its common courtesy to honor roll call.

I hit 3 helis on Dom Countdown....I didn't get to call in a single one, even though I called 'next' for 2 of them. Of course, I get all excited becuause MW3 has convinced me that I can't earn a KS, so, naturally, I'm stoked to have the first one. He ninja'd me and I was out of luck, so I called next.
That was basically the end of it.
When that game was done, before you hopped in on the invite, I said to Natas, "it's guys like him that make me wish I could go through the internet..."
But, he was one of those really good objective players. YOu know, the one who never goes near it. Bragging about having host and topping the lobby. Well no sht. That bit of info he should have kept to himself, because his accomplishment was just slashed in half. Topping the board when you have host....not a feat of greatness.
That Backlot dom game was rad.
Then on, what was it, back on Countdown TDM, I was having a 30+ game, and host pulls plug. Fck cod4 stat whores.

There are 9th accounters still trying for that high regarded 2. Will do anything! Must get 2 KD and back out.
Chopper tip. Switch to pistol and spam the call button. The clicker is just animation, the pistol refreshes the click faster than primary.

Yeah, F1st made a YT video (Zed posted it IIRC), where he said, "no matter what anybody does, the community will find a way to fck it all up."
Prime example: Terminal in MW3.
People are scared to fck about turning the "first corner".
Spawn, move to within eyesight of corner, go prone or headglitch, and wait ADS'd.
The map is a snoozefest.

If we spawn inside (and not playing drop zone), my first move is to go past/around the bookstore to the right, shoot the glass, call it "pussy glass" since it just camps, and jump out the f**king window like a madman
that's how you play terminal

Killed the same guy 4 times in a row in the back of the plane. Would run kill him, go elsewhere, come back and kill him again. Kept doing this, he left on the last kill.
Why won't you let me camp in a useless area in objective game!! Stop killing me in the only spot I know.

On terminal in the spawn you mentioned my opening route is - Move far left. Keep ADS and strafe left behind the burger joint. Pick off anyone I see. Move forward. Keep killing until I hit the escalators/stairs. From there, its a tradeoff of what to do based on enemy movement.

this is why we're a good team, some of us go right, some go left, some go right up the middle
the new codcasting feature with the overhead map movement will be interesting way for us to see how we swarm

I always watched that in BO1....with the toggle cam, go up high and check routes.
Always curious how some guys ended the first lap with 6 kills. My route, lets's say, on Firing Range, was always empty, save the odd oddball.
Alpha, was that the guy laying under that ramp at the tail end of the plane?

with the player collision problems in MW3, I tend to get away from the pack as fast as possible
you're right though, depending on the enemy, I can make a whole lap and find nothing, or run into half the team
this is me, starting at :10

Agreed.
I pretty much tend to try to hit the high traffic areas off spawn. You cant go rambo on them though. You have to move swift and with precision. You need to be a surgeon and slowly push forward into the initial wave of enemy. Once you get through that wave and spawns start flipping... then its "RUN YOU STUPID MFR".
You know that the enemy sits in their spawn waiting on you. So you have to strike surgically.

to this day, I still have the problem that, when encountering more than one enemy (and not using a shotgun), I try to kill them all, getting one if I'm lucky and usually dying quickly

More times than not ill run into a bad situation. Ill round a corner and there will be 4 enemy players coming at me. What to do first? They are all going to shoot at me.
First I hit the fire button. Mid shooting I drop to the ground (Yep, Dropshot). My first target is the guy NOT using the sniper rifle. If they are wearing a wookie suit, I leave them for last. Then through the progressions. I try to take out the guy closest to me... because his bullets are more likely to connect (he is closer). Then I make split second decisions and look at the names if all my targets sit at medium range. If there are any (1) or (2) in the name I stand up and strafe and leave them for before the Snipers. Then the Snipers die last.
All this while laying down Jumping up springing left and right. Doing a little dance so to speak. Make myself a harder target to shoot.
If an enemy isnt paying attention and not looking at me, then I leave them for last. My scenario was based on all 4 players trying to kill me.

I know you you speak of. RPG guy, shoot and lay down. Never touch smoke.
This was a Mw3_some letters. Wookie suit, run to tail of plane, lay down. Get face turned inside out, run back to tail.

Thats exactly what I would do... in my head. Reality is that I'll probably flash myself, then lay down whilst hip firing wildly

It's every man for himself when it comes to calling in choppers on COD4. Remember how the map used to go completely silent as a chopper prepared to leave the map since everyone stopped shooting to spam the d-pad LMAO!

Shipment. Click click click click click
It was smarter to kill 5, and die, drop air strike and get another 5. Repeat. Instead of being stuck on 1 chopper the entire game.
If COD4 lobbies filled, I'd play. Can't stand sitting 20 minutes with 1 person joining and leaving over and over.

Finding lobbies are easier with 3 or less, 3 or more and its hard.

Well, last night, the story on the 3rd page, was having a host with full green, and the rest of us moving in 30' bursts on yellowish red bars. Move 1 step on Downpour, and end up around a wall in front of 4 enemy players.
Host never left, so, we eventually had to.
Then, we'd have some assclown make us wait for game to start up, then end up with the "Draw"....rinse, repeat. Again, all that waiting for a full lobby, just to have some antagonizer piss us all
