I seriously have ZERO desire to play video games anymore.
Rank, prestige...perks, guns....none of it means anything to me now.
Got past the withdrawal stage, now I'm just doing other things that i don't want to stop doing when PSN comes back online.
I'm sure I'll be drawn back in eventually, but I like my life how it is without that monkey on my back.

feels good for now...I'm kinda of in a race to get as many productive items done before PSN comes back.
My wife says to me last night "you seem calmer, not worrying about having to get your video game time in to get to 15". Can't argue with her on that point. I am calmer.
I'm going back, but I'm enjoying the time away for now

Wondering how much time will be divided. Back in the gym routine and I may factor out the game to keep at it. Might be on after 10pm instead of 7-8. I feel better physically and have energy out the ass the next day. BO left me aggravated and lazy.

This!
I made weights and other stuff a regular routine without PSN.
I'll most likely be getting late or not all the tome.
But you better make sure you get on Curdada!

Yeah Kaz I agree. I used to always want to play, but now I play whenever I can.
After you haven't played for a while, you find other things to do, and you don't want to play.

I can only play when on day shift anyway. Exercise might be a good idea. I'm going for a run. Run + rum = bareable lol

Been working out, planning a bunch of landscaping to start up, rocking out on a bathroom renovation, designing a shed, and a bunch more indoor furniture to get started on.
With BO gone, my "life" productivity and contributions have skyrocketed.
If they aren't having it back up until May 31....I may be MIA until June 30 as well.

Im enjoying single player at the moment on a number of games. Plus its funny to read the posts of people crying like its the end of the world. The longer it goes, the funnier it gets.

This is but a little unfair. Just got back from my 7 month hiatus and this happens lol. Not that I don't find other stuff to do. Still I'd like the option to play online. I want to try AC:Brotherhood multiplayer again lol

Hear ya Kaz. Don't know how long its been down because I haven't even turned the PS3 on except for a few DVDs. Interest is being replaced. Hobbies are showing their face. Besides the gym and art work, I dusted off my old Ibanez Acoustic and plan on restringing it to play.

oh sweet an ibanez!!! *comes over to steal it*
yeh i actually don't miss the gaming at all.. i only used to play in the middle of the night my time.. (always had things to do during the daylight hours)... so i am just finding more things to do in my free time.. and it's healthy i think. rediscovering all the things that you love and enjoy, rather than wasting 3/4 hours a night on a game.
i'll still be going on once it is back up and running though... but i might play different games. i've just finished ac brotherhood.. and i love it.. so might give that a go. plus probably going to play portal 2.
i'm remembering why i bought the ps3 in the first place. which is a love of games.. not just online lol.
oh just saw your post spook.. if you're interested.. would love to play AC online with you! i think skep might play too. see if we can get anybody else to join in lol.

^^ lol was just suggesting the same to Frenchie
I'd like to play with a group. No one spoke when I tried a couple of games last time lol. Seemed to take it so seriously rofl.
Plus I want to get 100% complete
edit: and all this talk of AC makes me want to play that. I'd feel guilty for neglecting my other recent purchases lol

haha Spook.. i am obsessed with it!
I spent all of last night.. 10 hours straight. Can't remember last time i spent that much time on Solo Campaign.
I was destroying borgia towers.. sending recruits on missions etc simultaneously. And kept saying.. Ok just one more.. of course.. I couldn't stop until I had 5 recruits turn Assassin's LOL.
It's an amazing game though...
SO.. how do you get 100 percent.. you need the MP too?

Yeah. I think I'm at 50 now. THere are things in the story I haven't done but they're straightforward. Some stuff in the MP.
When PSN comes up there's DLC I'm pretty sure too...extra story ftw

oh ok like me then.. i think iam like 48 percent.
i have roma rebuilt like 90 percent...
and i just have the colosseum to buy and maybe couple of other landmarks.. and the leonardo war machines.. and the lairs of romulus.. and i think i am done
i want more storyline. i cried when it was over. they really are amazing games. so superior to fps storylines in every single way.
and i love the atmosphere of the game.. the colours.. how expansive everything is.
funny thing is.. i hated the elder scrolls.. maybe it was too magic involved for me.

lol I liked Elder Scrolls but nowhere near as much as AC. Didn't like Fallout (post apocalyptic storylines do not appeal to me...pffft Homefront). Have you played Uncharted? I think you'd like those ones. Very story driven and realistic lol. I think my first 2 games on ps3 were AC1 and Drake's Fortune (yeah, not even a FPS lol)

Ohh ok.. I think I need to get the Drake's Fortune one. I kind of like the Medieval Setting a lot.. but I don't think any other game can beat AC.. so will go for Unchartered.. better to start out with the first one?

Yes. It's one long story and the first one will not disappoint. And then once you've played that...the second one improves on it lol. Unthinkable!!!!

Never realize how much time that game stole from me.
I miss BS'ing with y'all, but damn....I'm doing so many things I used to just shuffle to the side for weeks, even months on end.
Feels good.
