Warrior Dash and Mud Runs technically aren't alot of running. Sure you run them, but the obstacle and mud change it up. Tis fun.

Said no one ever who's did one. You start off running a mile, then swim across a pond. lol

Been at that for 3 weeks. Have lifted once this month, coming up on week 4 of insanity. Down about 8 lbs, but shredding for spring.
Reminds me of Dom's Crossfit Do You Even Lift chart
Are you a black guy that works out on a playground? Nevermind, keep doing what you do

To prepare of that, do 500 air squats a day.
You ever try to run in a space jump? Imagine that for 45 minutes.
Shades, I think those things maybe a body harness would be $300? for a decent one

I ran a 5 k a few years back. It was pretty cool. Lots of chicks. Felt like a party at the end.

The Relay race 2 weeks ago, I was trying to help the boy pace himself and learn to run longer than a mile.
He managed a sub 26min 5K, which I thought was great for a 10 yr old. He never stopped running.
Yesterday, I didn't take self's advise and came out like a fresh white ass released in prison. There were so many hills in this part of the Capital City, I started tanking hard after a mile. Couldn't catch rhythm breath to find a good pace and kept wanting to trip the people running past me.
21st out of the men in comp class
Shit, that means 10 women beat me in the 210 total running.
Had well over 500 runners, but most just signed up for fun class and got in line with us.
Strong start, hard crash.

29 minute 5K in the mud and woods. The worst part about coming in 1st place by over 90 seconds?
The best part? My 10 yr old came out 1st place in the U14 kids race right before that.
Not knowing where the fk to go and keep getting turned around
Gained all the advancing time through the obstacles. Jumped the climbing hurdles, 1 hopped the 2 stage bales, quick launched over the cargo nets and rope climbs, and high knees through the muck. Exhausted right now, bout to nap before gym.

Yessir, on the last stretch before you climb that big ass wall and walk across balance beam to get to the final slide in a mud pit.

Few thousand posted, not dug through all of em yet. They didn't tag everyones race bib this year for easy search.
He couldn't run, had to be 14. Woulda smoked most of our group
And fire crew was slacking on the size

I actually caught the red ass and crossed the finish line cussing to the gf on sidelines.
It's became a humongous social media event for couch fatties. They ONLY sign up to take pics and walk the entire FN 3 miles! They stick together in herds on the trails and you can't get around them. Which caused every single obstacle to bottle neck and cheer each other on for failing to climb a 4 ft hurdle with support step. There were multiple people literally frozen in fear on top the cargo net. I just went around them and said it's just as far down both ways now. Which was kinda asshole funny now that I think back of them bear hugging the top of the wall with their group saying you can do it.
Never got winded this year, wasn't even remotely exhausted as last time. it was a dirty stroll in the woods. Took 20 minutes longer to finish this year and I left my group by 25 minutes ahead. The pic with water shooting up... they backed a truck up with a pump and was spraying you in the face with water from the mud hole. If it wasn't bad enough trying to monkey bar across a cargo net that had a foot of slack when you grabbed it.
