Read this a couple days ago. Good article. Nade has recently been talking about retirement because of all the anxiety that comes along with it for him.

Anxiety from playing video games? Imagine if he ever stepped on a field of combat sports. Insta-pants shit.

no idea about a kid complaining about the anxiety he gets from playing video games for a living? yeah, there's no way we could possibly understand his situation
lol
life involves stress, pressure, deadlines, loss, and being able to keep it together, most of us who have been doing it for years really don't want to hear some baby whining, especially in a situation like his

Yes but the thing is you're not in his situation, and don't know what its like to be constantly looked at by thousands of people every day.

he's making money by doing a job that shouldn't exist (and I blame the youth for encouraging something so ridiculous)...he doesn't have to shovel shit, he doesn't have to sit in an office, he doesn't have to work construction in 90+ degree weather, he plays a f**king game for a living.
The fact that so many people idolize him for playing COD, is troubling
also, he's not even 25, and he's complaining about his career (which he chose) means that he's a little pussy.

Yeah Z, try doing what Joey does. MOTHERFCKER IS IN ATTICS IN DA BAYOU IN DA SUMMA. try what Chisa does dealing with medical research. Fck something there up and someone dies. Stress is a part of life and if he can't handle stress from a video game, I find it troubling how he will handle real life situations.

Zcs went full troll and you bit lol
Have had a career longer than he's been on Earth. If he's still 12.
Stress comes from having a job that affects people if you mess up. Gamers need not apply.

I'm just saying you guys are too ignorant on the subject to be able to make these kinds of judgements. It's not as simple as making 6 figures by playing Call of Duty. If it were that easy, everyone would be doing it. Stress is stress and anxiety is anxiety. Nadeshot worked at McDonalds for 4 years and now he makes six figures, and it's not something anybody can do..
You can't say that he doesn't have anxiety or stress, because you're not him, and you don't know what it's like.

I worked in McDonalds when I was in High School, I also make decent money
I'm also not a whiny pussy
to be fair, I'm not idolized by the worst group of assf**ks around (the COD community), it's probably stressful realizing that you're greatest achievement has resulted in constant attention from the worst group of gamers ever to walk on planet Earth, and by walk, I mean, camp.

I had a couple episodes of anxiety a few years ago (posted it on here) and it's fcking horrible so I can relate to that in a way. I guess it from 'performing' in front of thousands of people as opposed to playing a computer game lol, but Jesus Christ 6 figures a year for it. That's Bollocks.

if he's feeling anxiety about his notoriety, why the hell is he even talking about it in an interview?
he's got that typical "whoa is me" attitude that a lot of the younger generation have embraced, which, to the rest of us, comes across as incredibly naive and very whiny
I'm not saying anxiety isn't real, and possibly debilitating (for many), but for what he's doing in life, it's beyond ridiculous. He needs to pull up his diaper and make his cash while he can, I don't see COD sustaining anyone's future for too long.

He might have real stress and anxiety. But it's a drop in the bucket compared to a real job. My dog has stress and anxiety when it lightnings, he pees on the floor. I laugh at his pansy ass as well.
I'm just glad I'll be dead before the next couple generations start running things. There will be mandatory 2 hour breaks for every 15 minutes of work so they don't get overwhelmed or break a sweat. Pussy ass youth of this age.

the cod community you know and bitch about isnt the competitive cod community. Nothing you said made any sense.
People have been making money at event for over 10 years now and this is just mlg im talking about.
You don't think there is stress involved in gaming? (at their level)
Anytime you make over 285k in just over a calendar year (Crimsix on EG) there's stress involved.
The streotypical gamer has changed, everyone plays video games nowadays.

There is stress in games. It drove me to drinking bottles of whiskey just to be able to handle being affiliated with them.
If all video game consoles crashed today, it wouldn't affect the world besides the millions who had to find another form of entertainment.
This just gave me a fantastic movie idea. You know gamers talk shit and about 4% could actually back it. Rich guy who's had enough pays to have screen names located and tracked to console. Shows up at door, confirms gamer identity and beats the shit out of them in the front yard, post on YouTube with their tag. World Peace sets in after the fear sets into the mic warrior uber athletes of the virtual realm.

#62095Anxiety and stress? Try bringing 5 new behaviorally troubled foster kids into your home. There is no 'retiring' from that. What is he stressed about? Not winning tournaments? These professional athletes are in the same exact situation, there is 100x more pressure on them to win.

The cod community outside the actual people on the teams, is exactly what we think. They watch these events and emulate none of it.
He's a whiny bitch and should appreciate what he has, it could be a lot worse

This is what I'm saying though, it's just on a lower magnitude. When he says he has anxiety/stress, he shouldn't put himself in perspective to athletes who have more pressure to win. His job is to play games and to win, and his following adds pressure on him to succeed.
I don't know if what I'm saying is making sense, but I'm trying to explain it lol.
