So for whatever reason, Gamestop decided to ship out the extra controller I bought for the ps4 yesterday; I received it today.
Obviously, I can't use it for anything yet (ps4 only, though, it's rumored to have OSx compatibility), but I can give some first hand thoughts on the design:
1. It's definitely bigger than the midget hands ps3 controller. Both height and width have been significantly increased. It's not as bulky as a 360 controller, but it's certainly a vast move towards a more comfortable controller for people with hands like mine.
2. The L2/R2 redesign feels VERY smooth. Triggers press easily (unlike the Xbox triggers) and are super smooth compared to the 6 month old controller I've been beating up.
3. Touch screen doesn't seem to add much weight to the controller, interested to see how it's incorporated
4. L1/R1 also feels a bit different, streamlined in a sense, takes up a bit less space on each side. Very easy to find with your fingers, effortless to press.
From what I can tell, this was a very good move by Sony. They've given us more, while keeping the controller at the same price point. Not sure how, but I'm glad.

I don't think you'd be able to, even if you wanted

Great! I was waiting for one of us to buy PS4 for the controller review.
Please read this and report back if you can:

I'll try it out tonight and report my findings
Edit: the cable connector is a different type than the ps3, have to get another cable or wait until the ps4 arrives to charge it.....that's weak shit

While I do not care, IF there is a picture, provide boobs as a scale for the controller. State cup size or the scale would be useless.o_homescrub_o wrote:no picture? what kind of shit is this thread with no pictures. **** this noise.

lol
the ps4 even uses the same power cable as the ps3, which means I don't have to go digging behind my TV, I can just switch the cables when necessary

Sounds annoying switching cables around lol. Maybe the douche factor on ghosts will go down with the release of ps4.Chisa wrote:lol

Lol
You need to switch consoles. I'd have everything hooked up at once. Just change inputs.
