With the Nats and Orioles having a somewhat successful season last year this is the first time in like a thousand years that anyone in this area is remotely interested in baseball. I might watch 20 regular season games this year (up from like 3 last year). Sport is still obnoxiously boring however. Go Banana!

And the Bravos should be legit contenders for the NL East. Picked up both Upton brothers which immediately makes the outfield one of if not the best in the majors. Both have power at the plates. Pitching staff looks good. Bullpen should be strong.

Like a Jeter + Arod left infield? 10 million dollar pancake flop.
Don't set salary. Let plays dictate payout after a game. Then baseball gets interesting for 160+ games. Instead of 3 playoffs.

Lol Moose. Sox are a 3rd place team in the AL East. Not sure they can make the playoffs or get a wildcard spot, but we'll see. At least we're better than the Yankees, they have tons of injuries. (Granderson, Arod, Tex, Jeter)..

Not gonna lie... it is kinda nice having the Nationals and Orioles competing in their divisions. Usually around here the "dog days" of summer creep by at a snails pace. Hopefully the two teams can build on last years success.
Random fact: Orioles have lost more 1 run games this season that all of last year.

So 2/3rds of the way through the season.. Red Sox with the best record in the AL and 2nd overall.. just falling behind Pittsburgh after losing to the D-Backs tonight.
Yankees sitting 4th in a very competitive AL East.. who will make the play-offs? Looks like whoever finishes 2nd and 3rd in the AL east will be taking the Wild Card.. but the Indians and Rangers have also been doing very well;)
Come on RED SOX!!

Cleveland has no offense. Everyone is slumping same time. There's always next year.lilaclegend wrote:red sox looking good to take the league thanks to a few wins against white sox and tampa losing. unless they fall apart like a couple of seasons ago lol.

"There's always next year" is a Cleveland thing. Been saying it every year for the past x amount of years.lilaclegend wrote:yep seems out of reach this year.. but i will be cheering you on next seasonSyndrome wrote:Cleveland has no offense. after 2011.. still hold my breath when it comes to red sox.. but looks like they're definitely gonna win the AL East. With Detroit and Oakland looking good to take the Central and West.
As for the wildcard places.. so close!!
Cleveland on a good run Syn! Hope you get to be in the play off game with either Texas or Tampa:d
