USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
You shouldnt run into problems, but if you do... its not my fault.

I did this earlier, and it worked. Really has improved my connection (finding games easier, host migration works)

Some people say Enable UPnP. Why is that? Also don't you have to go to the DMZ page and enter the last digits to be .125(or whatever you pick)? Can you answer my questions? Thanks

#8283UPnP is Universal Plug N Play.
It has a history of messing with the downloading game settings. Where you will be there forever DL'ing them.
DMZ is a last resort. (Demilitarized zone)(something like that). It opens all the ports which makes it easy for hackers to attack you.

Locate the game you want to forward. And put in the spot where it ask for the TCP and UDP. Put the IP address of your PS3 in there and name it.
If you are doing COD only. I will post what I use.
Call Of Duty
TCP: 28960
UDP: 20500,20510,28960
IP Address: Whatever your PS3 IP is.
PS3 Black Ops
TCP: 80-81, 443, 5223, 3074
UDP: 81, 2005, 3075, 3478
IP Address: Whatever your PS3 IP is.
PS3 COD4
TCP: 5223
UDP: 5223,3478,3479,3658
IP Address: Whatever your PS3 IP is.
PS3 MW2
TCP: 5223, 3074
UDP: 5223,3478,3479,3658
IP Address: Whatever your PS3 IP is.
EDIT: Syn just named it for it to be an example.

The cod5,6,7 are jsut a name you use to remember why those prots were forwarded. And you cant name 2 things the same. SO I marked them Cod5,6,7,8 for my own reference. I knew they were forwarded for COD use. I could of named them Black eyed snake and it wouldnt of made a difference.
WHats important is.... setting up a static IP on your PS3. Once that is done, then you will have the routing number to use when you forward your ports.
Shadow... you forgot the "PlayStation Network" ports. However I think they fall in the categories of the Cod ports anyways.

I used all the ports Syn had shown in the tut. Much appreciated. I even put them in order, because I didn't want anything to go wrong, lol. Since I don't play cod5 online, what is the corresponding port's name so I can remove it? I might need the extra port for something lol

Actually most of teh COds repeat on what ports tehy use.
For instance:
Cod4 uses all the same ports as waw.
SO what you see listed is all the necessary ports for cod as a whole lol.
Shadow listed teh specific ports for MW2 and Blops in his post above I do believe.
