Burnt up Drill
I had a wild hair, took off to Lowe's. Built this fucker from 7:30-9 pm, Mixed the concrete in a bucket with my hand and couldn't wait on it to set by this afternoon. Saw enough vids of skinny fkers doing them with ease, women pumping out 2-3. Finally gave it a go. Could not even get body over top of bar. I can get my chin over but can not get the momentum to excel the chest. Did 4 pull ups and gave it a minute to think over. Jumped again, got chin over, exhausted arms trying to hip it up. Damn it

I figured another reason why its so friggin hard.
I drilled 1 inch holes in that 4x4 and put the 1 inch pipe in it. It rolls when you grab it, it's not perma-mounted so anytime I roll my wrist, the bar is moving with my hands. Not getting any up momentum.
Still quite the movement firing off a bunch of muscles.

Got one for the first time yesterday.
Somehow managed to do 2 reps today.
It's not really about strength as much as technique. It's not just a pull up to a dip.
You have to really get your chest over the bar.

Will try again once I get this pipe perma-mounted so it's not rotating in the groove. When I try to cheat grip with palms on bar, it rolls them back down. Gonna end up falling on back.
But doing pull ups constantly, starting to pump out more and more. Almost can do prison style where you hold body at top and stretch right to left
