Heading the music headlines today is probably the most attrocious song i've ever heard. Further proving that music is becoming tasteless, and simply a teeny bopper money making pyramid scheme.
even though the general opinion on it is that it's shit atleast. why is this even in headlines? i remember when songs sucked no one listened to them, now songs are listened to when they're shit and called "music"

when I first heard this song, I thought it was a joke...when I found out that this is real, I raged.
Popular culture is a floating turd that refuses to be flushed.

Everyone loves that digitized voice sh1t these days...you need ZERO talent, just a voice changer....and you can make soemthing for the retarded little kidlets to funnel money into itunes.
This song has over 75 MILLION hits....not becuase its' fcking hilarious, or because it's a parody of a real news braodcast, but because someone threw it through a digitizer and made it repetitive. Now it's a fcking hit song....and it was never a song to begin with.
Sh1t, you could record my Black Ops rage dialogue and digitize it and someone would buy it on youtube.

This Saturday I went to a club with some friends and I heard T-Rex's 20th Century Boy being played to which I exclaimed, "They have some taste in music here then". My friends looked at me and asked what the song was because they didn't know...*facepalm* Not 5 minutes later the usual 'popular' stuff gets put on and everyone except me knows what's going on. I went home...

Music nowadays is absolute ballocks. 14 year olds or x factor winners bullsh!t.
Take me back to the music of the 90s and early 00's. Popular music culture is garbage and every sheep that latches onto it can kiss my ass

The music now is bearable IMO, but I prefer to stay away from mainstream music on the whole.
I don't think I could live without some of the records in this century - most of the C&C stuff, Lostprophets and I think Death Magnetic is one of Metallica's best albums yet.
New music isn't bad, just the popular stuff lol

There's been some good bands in the 21st century, Warbringer, Five Finger Death Punch, Drowning Pool, Evile.
But they will never beat the music from the 70s and 80s IMO
