Just decided I wanted to start reading more. I wanted something I could get into. Not too complicated, because I'm not an avid reader lol. Might be something I pick up and read with weeks between.
First thing I grabbed was "The Walking Dead: The Rise of The Governor". Read first 20 pages to see if I'd be interested. Story starts out 4 days after the outbreak and follows The Governors story. Written by Robert Kirkman and some other dude. Seems like it fits my criteria.

This isnt a comic. This is an actual Novel.

Indeed.
You know you can DL the very first issue of Walking Dead comic free from Google Play (Android)?

I'm half way through UFC Encyclopedia. Its every event and fighter that ever participated in the sport since day 1 until 2012. Learned a shitton.
Have read Body building Encyl. by Arnold. Took months. Got jelly looking at the massive dudes in pics. Fapped couple times.
Used to have 30 ish Goosebump books. Those were my fave.

How'd you like the Sam Sheridan book, Chisa? Dude got some top notch training in the name of researching/writing a book lol. I read the follow up book, too (A Fighters Mind). Not as good as "Heart", but OK.

Loved "Heart" and definitely enjoyed "Mind" (a bit less though), he's quite good at creating a narrative that keeps a brisk pace while being thorough. Good writer!!
Good for him for managing to turn his fighting hobby into a career.

Can't remember if he was just researching his book, or writing articles for a magazine. Whichever the case, genius way to fund your top notch training.Chisa wrote:Good for him for managing to turn his fighting hobby into a career.
