Everything that's wrong with modern Liberalism

I've been thinking a lot about my recent disenchantment with the modern liberal party, and I think I'm starting to figure out what my issue is...
1. type and tone of complains: listen to that video, why the f**k would anyone listen to a shrieking person yelling nonsense about privilege, while coming from an ivory tower away from the "real world"? Presentation is everything, and some logic would be nice
2. Liberals in the modern media come across as whiny pussies, why would I want to align myself with people who'd rather complain about something, than work towards a solution
3. Mind Police: in full effect, you're only allowed to think like them
This does not mean that I find modern conservatism to be good.....that side is bat shit crazy.
I'm stuck in the middle, with a bunch of other people who aren't represented well by anyone in politics
anyone else feeling this?

i started distancing myself from conservatives and the republican party a few years ago. there is hypocrisy on both sides of the spectrum and i currently find myself without a political party.
i guess you could call me a constitutionalist. i am still fiscally conservative and think that the federal government is WAYYY too complicated and has many departments that should not exist. the more complex something becomes, the more problems that can occur. though i am also socially liberal. i believe in true freedom and you should be able to do whatever you want so long as it does not violate someone elses rights or endanger other people.
so i guess i would be a fiscal conservative, social liberal, foreign isolationist.

It's definitely a scary road we're on. I, for one, do not believe in giving up my rights for the specter of "security". Both parties are leading solidly in the realm of authoritarian, with government having way too much sway over choices grown adults should be allowed to make for themselves.
It irritates the shit out of me, that people are willing to march over the Martin case, yet, the Government is trampling the Constitution daily, and no one gives a f**k.

there are two reasons why that happens.
1. apathy.
2. they are too stupid to comprehend the larger issues.
you have to remember that the average person is an idiot.
