I've reached one of those phases where I'm tiring of people's bullshit, especially on Facebook. Starting to get that urge to purge shit from my life again, so I blocked 3/4 of the people I'm friends with on Facebook this morning. It was liberating.
It's not that people are necessarily bad, it's just that their generic nature doesn't mesh with me anymore. I'm bored with the incessant talk about their kids, or their boring pictures of nothing in particular, and their lack of anything resembling a worthwhile thought.
Was incredibly fun...I may unblock them, then block them again
None of you were on that list, of course.

same chisa. honestly other than keeping up w/ concerts and my core of friends (which we all see eachother on a weekly basis) it makes me irritated more than enjoyed now.
i know it's time to start deleting when i contemplate fishing easy win arguments w/ people who have to share their opinion on everything.

yep, when it becomes a forum to make people look stupid and insult them, I know it's time to move on.....it's not my job to make people less dumb, I don't want that responsibility
I blame my age group and their lack of balls due to having children...(most) parents are f**king boring, especially the moms

doesn't matter the age group man. people and how they change w/ having kids is a joke. couldn't tell you how many of my deleted friends were chicks who were partying it up like college whores... then all of a sudden, prego, baby, sometimes marriage. and then all of a sudden they're looking down on everyone/everything associated w/ their previous lifestyle. bitches u ain't foolin nobody.
i think my biggest problem w/ social networking like fb, myspace, hell even youtube comments at times, is everyones all trying to give an opinion without ever listening to another opinion.

you're right....that's life right now, people don't listen anymore.....conversations are now just people waiting for their turn to brag about something that doesn't matter instead of investing in an actual relationship with another person
I understand that things have to change with people who have kids, that priorities have to shift, but that doesn't mean your personality has to become the most bland version of yourself.

Deactivated last November. I don't hate my 'haven't seen or spoken to in 12 yr friends' anymore. People ask why and I say because nothing any of you say is entertaining, I don't give a F about your life, sickness, kids, pets, meals, extended family, current drama, bible quotes, internet pictures, etc. And they get offended.
What really aggravated me was when I reactivated in Feb to look for news update of a local death. I didn't click on anything or post a word and Shadow wrote on my wall because it somehow/somewhere lit up that I was back on. Account Settings. Deactivate. Confirm.
Easier to remove yourself then block 95% of 'friends'
