simmo165 wrote:I saw Django Unchained the other day. I was worried it was going to be a let down with all the hype, but it was the best thing I've seen this year by far. Every major character is played so well, and Samuel L Jackson has one of the greatest scenes I have ever watched before! Such an incredible movie!
definitely best film of the year. christoph waltz is so amazing too. he was brilliant in inglourious basterds. but in this he was even more outstanding.
was what a film should be.. entertaining, humourous and action packed!

I put on Silent Hill Revelations at 11:30, woke up at 12:15 and went to bed.
From the 20 min I saw, its crap actors, cheap film antics, has to be a new director. Just looked like a knock off film, not worthy of keeping with the 1st one.

Same. I enjoyed it and found the story very interesing as i was unaware of it before. However if it wasnt based on a true story id have thought it was utter pish.
The clip with the broken 'Hollywood' sign was very powerful for some reason.

Black Snake Moan on Netflix.
Doesnt get better than a half naked Christina Ricci all move coupled with a Samuel L Jackson.

Watched 1st 30 min of Black Knight Rises a month ago, watched last 30 min yesterday. Beginning and ending quite boring, middle 2 hours probably not worth seeing.

So I had just a little bit over an eighth left of my shrooms and thought it was wise to try and watch The Hills Have Eyes... not a smart decision.

Yeah I made till husband goes walking into the cave. Couldn't take it anymore.
And I totally agree on the rape scene, I would have to say it's one of the top 5 most disturbing 5 minutes in any movie. Great scene but my god does it paint a picture.

Hillbilly horrors, reminded of another I watched last weekend.
Wrong Turn 5. Absolute crap acting on the hunters and huntees. Laughable because sometimes they may as well look at camera and read lines off a paper. Bloody scenes were good, obvious where they spent the funds.

Milla Jovovich is so hot. No Ali Larter this time though.

watching Swordfish on AMC...
speaking of AMC, it's really lowered it's standards. The Marine, Escape from New York etc... just stupid movies that have no reason being on this station. What happened to AMC showing classics????
