What a great ad. I want more companies doing this. That was me on Youtube. Back towards the world, face toward the Playstation since 2000.
Is that really the start up sound for PS4? Because I might burn mine turning it off and on with a sound like that!

Who cares? It would be nice to have them but, I rarely used it on PS3. Have PC/Ipad for that bullshit.
However.....
"Thanks for the feedback to the lack of MP3 and DLNA support at the launch of PS4. I'll share with the PS4 Dev team for future consideration," Yoshida said.

So you might see some change later.

I have a sony phone and have used it lately for vids and films. Custom soundtracks on a few games too. It doesnt do these things because sony want you to use their music subscription service.
Quite a few people care by the sounds of it ya fud.

lol
so?
Ps4 will record your game play and allow you to stream to twitch, or post to facebook
youtube will probably come later, but who cares? Most people in the youtube game already have a pvr, which is supported
That's great for Xbox1 that you can push a button to send to youtube, but I'd rather have my games running natively at 1080p

Ik0n wrote:I download shows onto a flash drive and play them through my PS3.. about the only thing I use it for. Other than that, I can't tell the difference between 720p and 1080p regardless... the screen I play on is too small and I sit too close so it won't matter to me.
for me to spend the money, I want a difference between the generations, and part of that, is 1080p resolution
I've got a 49 inch LED, and I want to take advantage of it

how the F do you look back n forth across a screen like that
I look at 100s of TVs a week, see no difference in 720/1080

I expected to have problems when I got it, but I sit about 5 feet away and I can scan pretty well while gaming

You won’t mind that when you can read the text and see snipers shooting at you.Alpha wrote:how the F do you look back n forth across a screen like that
God, how did I play MW2 with one bar and a shitty TV?

I still play on a 27 inch SD screen. Can't see distance unless they're moving, can't read anything on screen, but it doesn't matter when you play in SMG range

Yours is a CRT too. CRT's don't care what resolution you feed it, it'll display same anyway. I play on a 32in LED in my room and at school, and you can tell between 720p and 1080, although slightly (I sit pretty close). When I hook my PS3/PS4 up to the 46" LED at home, you can REALLY tell the difference.

Not a big thing, really but I might as well post it. MP3 files will be supported in later patch, Sony says.
