Well, I got to thinking...maybe this compensation thing is helping a bit....but hurting at the same time.
I mean, I hear lag rages coming from people who curb stomped US with superior connections. I hear us raging, yet, even those raging are pulling 3+ kdrs in a game.
I looked at one HQ scorecard. Except for Alpha, everyone was like, +- 1kd
29-34
32-36
31-28
22-21
One dude commented "nice fcking connections fcktards". meanwhile, the kills may as well have been scratched because everyone cancelled everyone else out.
I've always asked, if none of us are getting the connection, then who is?
If the other team is lag raging....clearly it wasn't them.
Is it so fcking random that every kill you get, you were being comp'd, and then every death was at the hand of someone getting comp'd?
We have said that it seems like, once someone gets momentum, it swings the other way. maybe that is how they have it programmed.
Doing well?
Not for long.

Entire game shifted on us last night with no migration. Doing good, capping bases, keeping them away... then it happened. The frame rate went out, the screen started freezing and they took every base after that point. 2 Vsats, 2 Loadstars, Stealth Choppers, just like the game gave them 500pts everytime they spawned in.
Called em out for lag switching, 1 laughed, then they all left.

I kind of wonder if that's what happened on our "best" game of HQ on Yemen, where we were down 0-105 and came back to win it.
Did connections just switch that tiny little bit and put us in the drivers seat.....?
Who knows.
I notice it more when I'm getting fcked, and if it swings my way, I'm probably more oblivious to it, and just start thinking the game is finally playing proper.

To me MW3 is the most forgettable CoD so far.
It just didn't have anything stand out good or bad about it.
With CoD4 and W@W I will always remember how balanced they were because they were much simpler by design. I will always remember the great map designs. The nuclear grenades and martyrdom of Cod4 or how about MP40 juggernaut spam of W@W. With W@W I will always remember blowing limbs off, the rusty feeling weapons, the bolt actions rifles and the dark sinister tones. The Red Army and Marine raiders victory themes.
With MW2 I will always remember the rage of getting tubed or commando knifed. I will always remember long ass streaks with the Spas 12 and M1014. I will always remember my brother and his friends dropping nukes every other game. Playing tonnes of Ground war and search and destroy. The faction themes. The sound of interventions, Harriers and noob tubes filling the air.
With Black Ops I will always remember dominating SnD lobbies with the olympia and stakeout. I will always remember the Famas spam. I will always remember nuketown and firing range. The best collection of DLC maps of any game so far. Hazard - When I found out they had turned one of my favorite maps of all time into a golf course, I skeeted.
With MW3 I can hardly reflect on anything. Type 95 and FMG akimbo were frustrating and the specialist streak was a nice addition. Apart from that? Meh.

I miss having just one gun that takes time to get used to (pm-9), guns in Blops1/2 have no learning curve and I miss that.
I miss having killstreaks setup for each class.
I miss mw3's hit detection compared to blops 2
I miss a Barebones playlist
I miss Domination
I miss fun challenges
I miss having 4 bar 90% of the time
I miss Homescrub killing himself 65 times with c4 when he was being lag comp'd
I miss Chisa's foul mouth
I miss bamas soud whore camping
I miss Pro perks
I miss the choices in HC
I miss nothing in Blops or Blops 2

You don't miss my soundwhoring nearly as much as I do LOL! I also miss being able to run specialist instead of killstreaks. Only being able to have 6 perks at a time sucks!
