Lag doesn't favor the aggressive. If you're behind you can't make up being in their screen 1st when their ADS waiting on you.

I appreciate his analysis, but, there was one major flaw, like Alpha said.....it only favors the people it is compensating.
I have tried ADS'ing over a headglitch box. No matter the range, the rifle, the spot, the enemy team, it's ineffective because people can approach me, sight me up, pull up sights and pick me off, looooong before I see them.

No it doesn't....becuase, now that I have his lingo, my player model AND my hitbox travels ahead of me / what I am seeing. This is exemplified by me not being able to walk through doorways and openings all the time, by me getting killed by a corner camper I prefired on as I turned a corner, of by how I can die before I have even rounded a corner.
Who is favors are those in the connection hub: Like he said, those closest together experience the least lag.
It also favors, as he said, those with really bad internet. I don't have the Homescrub or Alpha connection of 60+ (which, I think they both got rid of), but I have decent enough that it will pull me for host on BO almost every game, and decent enough that I become a major donor to those with say, 3-5 Mbps, or lower.
Add to that the thousands of miles that I live from the population hub and there you have it explained.

So now that you have it figured out, you should be able to use lag to your advantage by knifing only with really shitty internet and tricking people into thinking you're hacking, all because the game grants you 1 full second to react before the enemy does.

They're gone. It started in MW2, he's quite misleading.
Look at scores in COD4, guess who's host and ask how much they were lagging behind 3-17 2bar guy. You take that same 1v1 of host vs 2bar African and he would kill you 3 times before you saw him in MW3.

COD4 I could run a lobby on my own....and that was before MW2 even came out, so the 'good' people were still playing it....and this was just a few weeks after buying my first PS3.
Within a few months, I was able to wreck in pretty much every lobby, thanks to what i learned from watching xcal.
Have I gotten worse since I first learned to play?
Be like thinking I got worse at walking once I took my first few steps.
The game now works against me, mostly in the lag compensation area. If it was born in COD4, then they fcked it up eveytime after that.
Maybe they need the system to stop logging all the stats, saving all the game data, saving to theater evey game for tens of millions of people, stop having 2348971256487 different killstreaks and perks that fck with the game engine because it's 20 years old.
No, I haven't gotten worse since I learned to play, and people haven't gotten measurably better. The way they dole out connections, compensate for lag, where they spawn people, how they spawn people, and why they spawn them there, has changed the game.
No need to be good. Just need to have connection on your side.
THAT is the determining factor in this game. nothing else.

And getting connection on your side doesn't mean having a 1000 meg fiber optic set up off the server. You just leech. Might see if my PS3 will reach my neighbors 20% strength router tonight.

I play solo, I pull up PR and Venezuelan lobbies more than anything.
Come to think of it, I have never pulled a local lobby in 10 days of MW3 playtime ('local' meaning within 600 miles of me--which is the distance between DoubCross and I).

PR and Calgary are equal distances from Ohio (as our baseline location), but PR is double the distance from me. Why can I never beat a single PR player?

I cant tell who Lag favors. I ran a test a long time ago where I completely tanked my net. I figured out how to drop it to 3 bars from 4 bars. I even dropped it to 2 bars, but buffed it back up again lightly. I noticed no real advantage. However I have never played with a 60mb + connection so I cant tell you if they get an advantage.

I guess a big issue I have with IW / MW3 is that everyone shows green--either 3 or 4 bars.
If you're red or yellow, it's like the system kicks in and is like "oh sht....jesus nigga, where the fck are you fro....forget it.....can't show that....here's......uhhhh.....4 bars Mr. Tazmania."
4 bars gives the worst experience, as does 3....and 2.....wait a second. Bars don't mean shit?
