How many of you 'zone in'

So much that all of your surrounding senses in life fade out. Can't hear people, door, phone. You get so focused on what you're doing that your sight, sound, mental perception all tune directly into the screen. That's when you're doing way before you could explain or even remember what you just pushed.
Slow modes (TDM, Dom) doesn't happen much, its bad in HQ when we have the base captured. You could speak to me and I probably won't answer or you'll get uhh response.
Few of us do it. You can tell when they go quiet and streaks start appearing.

Only in BF3. CoD is too forgiving for me to "zone in". Only in MW3 MOABs and my MW2 noobish days nukes did I zone in and focus on the game only. Holding my breath at times, lack of oxygen kicks me hard and brings me back. ****ing love getting shoot at while at 22 killstreak! Nothing matches that feeling of fear in video games.
Nice topic idea though.

Talking and playing when engaging enemies is out of the question.

I zone in whenever I'm concentrating on anything...
sports, gaming, playing guitar...I go to another place and can't be reached easily
I can barely talk while playing COD...lol

Most of the time we only talk during games after we die, lol.
I don't really zone in though.

I'd play better muted, with y'all the same.
Might try that a bit, but, I like the banter.
I zone out a bunch...dead silent, non responsive...either concentrating on the game or resisting raging with every molecule in my body.
