hate the cover of it on the radio now. think it's shinedown? awful. overdoes the vocals throughout the song. what makes that song so good is how simple it is. matching clearly w/ the song title.

Speaking of shinedown, whats the song with 'staring down the barrel of a .45" ?
I used to have that as my ex's ringtone when we were battling for visitation.

I'm a huge rock/metal/blues fan....listen to that stuff when I'm in a bad mood, good mood, whatever
when I want to feel "relaxed", I go to classical. Helped me tremendously when I was studying during college. If I was stressed, needed to space out, or even while I was doing work, I'd put on classical. Two of my favorites, Debussy Noctures: Clouds, and The Bach Cello Suites by Yo-Yo Ma, particularly Cello Suite 1: G major (the prelude is my favorite). The Bach, I mean damn, the ENTIRE album is an education on harmony, melody, counterpoint. Start to finish, one of the best works of music ever created.
Other good composers, Brahms, Tchaikovsky...the usuals (Mozart, Beethoven)

All of the above would do the trick. Nice.
For my pick, anything from Boards of Canada. Heres one...

Don't matter what mood I'm in, if this song comes on I crank the radio up. Music/voice combo. It doesn't even relate to me, its talking of his woman leaving and drinking is carrying him through it.
