At least MW3 has the PM-9 and other fun guns and the lag was A LOT less. What does BO have? Only good thing about BO is the Blackbird [Read: logical counter that a 12 year old would think of for Assassin in MW3 but nooooooo, everyone HAS to be gayssassining my game! ] and the M60. Yep, MW3 has teh worst spawn system in COD history, combine that with the worst lag, player movement, perk combos, stacking AND cycling streaks, training wheel perks, equipment and guns.....
If BO played at a higher frames pre second, I would have been happier. But 22+ days vs 8 speaks for itself.
Will never see half that play time on MW3.

Express saved BO. I was just about done with the series and these pussy ass players hiding every. single. game. Ghost/Silencer/ Motion Sensor/ UAVs . Its on 4:5 classes, 9:10 classes. Fk em, sick of em filling up the lobbies.
Had Express not been put out so good players could dominate the lobby over and over, I wouldn't even be on this site from drifting away and doing something else in life.

BO didn't even deserve to have the Call of Duty name on the label!!! MW3 is a fun game. I just wish that IW would have eliminated support streaks, death streaks, and made shotguns a little more powerful.

It's beyond me how this can be a game that anyone actually enjoys playing. Perhaps my connections just make it intolerable....but, beyond that, the community is such a mixed bag of sht and mentstrual fluid that it bores me to tears to even play for an hour.
Can't count the GWKC's that have a dude just straight up hiding in an area where if it had just one more wall, it would be a box.
It's a game about hiding. Community laps it up.
Game is about assalt streaks. Community laps it up.
Game is about easy mode and training wheels. After seeing players with 1 day through 75 days of play time using them ALL, there is nothing to conclude other than that the community laps it up.
No one is getting better. No one needs to get better.
Get 2 second advantage in connection, get assassin, blind eye, silenced T95 w/ RDS, motion sensor, pocket nuke, and 5, 9, 11 and just own that 3 walled hole.

What makes Black ops better -
1. Non stackable streaks
2. Express Mode
3. Sniper zoom had movement = No Leet Sniper Tryhards
4. Perks that ACTUALLY worked - Marathon = unlimited sprint, Flak Jacket = You could get bombarded with nades and survive (Not to mention resetting fueses on Nades).
5. Might of had "Ghost" but at least their was a counter (BlackBird).
6. Game Audio was SOOO much better. Able to turn in game music all the way down (Who listens to that shit in lobbies, or game anyways?)
7. Party system was 10x better. Able to change party privacy so friends can join party WITHOUT being invited was terrific.
8. Searching for matches was 10000x better. Able to search Local only was a HUGE step in the right direction.
9. This one MAY seem insignificant, but it is a REAL big help whether you noticed it or not. Being able to see what player is calling in what on the enemy team. Anytime an enemy put a streak up, it would flash their player card in the top right corner. Made it MUCH easier to identify the bitch players. Or end a players streak.
10. In Game leaderboards show objectives.

Don't even get my started on the stupid rocket takeoff, loud ass train, etc. in BO! The only negative with MW3 is the damn music they play at the end of matches when I'm trying to soundwhore LOL.

MW3 is a lot more fun than BO ever was! BO only had a few guns that were actually useable whereas ALL of the guns in MW3 are useable. Having an option for color blind people like me is pretty awesome too. I hated the way everything blended together on BO, especially with the amount of players using ghillie suits in BO. MW3 isn't perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but it is still miles ahead of BO!

there's one perk, then the rest
My favorite things about BO:
1. Maps: far less cluttered and more enjoyable, there were plenty that I actually looked forward to
2. Game modes: HQ, Express, even Dom were much more fun to play in Blops than MW3 (and express in particular was a savior)
3. Gun damage: Took more bullets to kill, favors the person with more control on the stick, and takes away the advantage of the person sitting in a corner (since the player ambushed has time to react). 2 bullet insta kills of mw3 robs any sort of competitive edge and lends more to the camper
4. Marathon Pro and Flack Jacket Pro: the greatest perk combo in objective mode history
5. the person who did most of the damage to the person in final stand, got the kill
6. Snipers with sway: made the little kids think twice, and let the good snipers shine
7. Chat quality: could hear everyone clearly
8. Party system: it worked
9. Scavenger: it replenished useful items like concussion grenades
What i didn't like:
1. Ghost: Until Stopping Power comes back, there is simply no counter to this over powered perk. It caters to the worst in the community, and is responsible for the undeniable slow down in the average pace of a COD game. Was rendered useless by express in the final months, but it did enough damage till then.
2. Frame rate slow downs: Summit is famous for it. Frustrating as f**k.
3. Second Chance/Final stand: I don't remember what the f**k that version was called
4. Dogs: worst kill streak ever, every other non-nuke KS can be avoided by either using a perk or going inside. Shooting them was laughably useless
5. SMG magazine capacity: WAY too many guns with 20 bullets, that's simply unacceptable

Every perk in Blops was designed to be effective. "Extreme Conditioning" is a watered down version of a real perk. "Blast Shield" is a watered down version of a real perk - It is so ineffective its laughable. Shit even in MW2 the "Blast Shield" equipment was more ffective than the joke they made a perk in MW3.

Blops had FrameRate issues, aside from that lag was more tolerable in it. Bullet Damage being so damn high in MW3 contributes to the Lag being more of an issue in MW3.

Spawn system should not spawn you 2 feet from an enemy. Bullet Spawn shield should exist, vice versa. Make people wait an extra 5 seconds off spawn before they can kill.

Give me something to counter the all mighty assassin that doesnt involve me guessing where the enemy might be or taking myself completely out of the game to bring them up... and id be 100x happier. Name a gun that was not usable in Blops? All were usable, some more OP than others. No different than MW3.
You are talking about shit blending in together on Blops? MW3 is just as bad. Map clutter contributes to this. Worse game for shit blending in was WaW. That was awful lol.

I'm going to be a nice guy and start a ghost/assassin war again, y'all know how I feel about them and I know how y'all feel about them LOL. The low gun damage in BO gave whoever had the good connection a HUGE advantage over those of us who always got stuck with the shit connections. MW3's gun damage is perfect IMO, although I would like to see the shotguns have damage from the beginning. Marathon pro, flack jacket pro, tac mask pro, & SR71 were the most unbalanced setup since OMA, DC, commando, & noob toobs were introduced in MW2. Scavenger is fine the way it is, and honestly I wouldn't mind seeing bandoleer make a return.
@Syn in BO if you used anything but an AR or the AK74u you put yourself at a HUGE disadvantage, especially if you didn't have the good connection in a lobby.

Bama is a different player than us. We don't have any spots on any map called "Kaz's room", or "Syn's Corner".

It's just a different playstyle and different mentality....which is why the game has gone in the direction that it has. People dont' like a streak that makes the 98% perk irrelevant....even if someone has to earn it by going 8-0. Or even if the person has to go 8-0 for all those kills against a perk that has been effective for the duration of that streak.

We weren't mounted up in WoR's parking spot hoping to nurse a 2.3kd.

I prefer the weapon variety in MW3 and the games gives me fewer connection headaches, but that's about it. It feels like a whole more thought and effort went into making BO than MW3.

the terrible connections in mw3 render gun deaths even more instantaneous, WAY worse than BO, there is zero reaction time if you don't have a perfect connection
it's laughable that you mention unbalanced without the presence of ghost, which did 8 things, whereas each of those things does 2 (at most). Neither of those three hid you from kill streaks, or radar, or meant that you didn't give a notification about capturing an objective, all of which are game breaking.
Flak Jacket means you die from 2 grenades, instead of 1 and protected you from "one" kill streak (napalm)
Marathon let you run, and that's it (not any faster, just the top speed longer)
Tac Mask? WHAT? I don't think I ever bothered to get it pro, I must have used it maybe 6 times over the year
your hatred of the SR71 really is odd, considering it was so easy to counter
Bring back Stopping Power, it's the only way to make this shit balanced again
and what are you talking about, the mp5k, spectre, and mpl were all VERY useable guns...put extended mags or rapid fire on the mp5k and it was a killing machine
I barely ever used the ak74u after my second prestige
had a lot of fun games with the dual hs10s, silenced spas 12, and even the brolympia
game had plenty to choose from to do well

Let me start off by saying... this does not even make sense?
Lets assume you are 1 second behind the enemy in both MW3 and Blops. Lets take the fastest killing weapon from each game that is not Semi-auto. So in this example I will use the ACR and Galil (recoil aside). ACR kills in 2 bullets, the Galil takes 5.. and we will say ROF is the same (Again this is theoretically speaking). So the enemy shoots the ACR at you in MW3. In that 1 second lag gap, you have NO time to react and you drop dead before you even have time to shoot your weapon. Now in Blops the guy with Galil starts to shoot you. He lands his 2 bullets however, it takes 5 shots to kill. So after you register the 2 hits on your character you feel it and have time to evade. He may land 1-2 more shots, but that leaves your screen red... and you time to recover before dropping dead. He did not land his 5 bullets.
Now again this is all theoretically speaking. I know the guns do not work in that manner... I am simply trying to get the point across that "Lower gun damage gave whoever had the good connection a HUGE advantage over others".

Because MOVING is so overpowered? You mean people having to use GUNS or Killstreaks to kill someone is so goddamn OP? Wow. This coming from a Cod4 Lover.
As for the Sr71. At least it had a 4 streak to counter it. And it DID NOT get the kills. Not too mention the Decoys, and scramblers people could use. Oh and the fact it was an EIGHT streak (NON STACKABLE streaks to attain the 8 streak).
Spas, HS-10s, Mac11, PM63, MPL, Spectre, Kiparis, Stoner, M60 - All suitable weapons outside the AR's or 74u. I didnt even mention the Snipers.BamaGoodfella wrote:

Never at a disadvantage with those weapons. Its up to the players to be smart enough to NOT put themselves in a situation that leaves them at a disadvantage. If someone wants to use a Famas... fine by me. Ill take there head off with an SMG or Shotty at close range. Someone wants to use a 74u? Ill take them out with any sniper, M60, Stoner or any other AR at long range.
Got to know how to use weapons to their advantages. Its a game of Advantages, not disadvantages.
