Weapon rebalance for assault rifles & SMG's:
FAD - increased damage and range
M16A4 - increased damage and fire rate
AK47 - reduced kick
UMP45 - increased damage
MP5 - increased fire rate
PM9 - reduced kick

I definitely think the FAD and mp5 needed a change, and there's no real way to balance the burst weapons without going from useless to OP instantaneously

I see what you mean by the burst weapons. Well hopefully this wont make them all OHK accidentally like when they tried to nerf Akimbo.
Actually maybe since that screwup was caused by a nerf and they became more OP this will go in the opposite direction and they tried to improve them but end up making them useless.

I just went into a PM on during lunch to test the guns, and the FAD is going to be the Famas of MW3 now LOL. I tested it with a RDS & the recoil proficiency, and it's like the rapidfire PP90M & ACR had a child together LOL. This may replace the MP7 as my anti-lag gun!

Is this what it takes for me to not see the MP7 or ACR anymore? Devs have to buff another gun. If so, im fine with that.

The FAD was already a wrecker. I unlocked it this last time I prestiged and never set it down until it turned gold on me.
AK47 in this game, was by far the worst iteration of it...but recoil was never the issue. It felt like it shot sewing needles. Tiny ass hitbox it seemed. Snipers get a 7' x 7' hitbox so they can just have their scope lens in the frame of the Tv to get a kill, and the AK felt like you had to be able to split a nose hair to get a hitmarker.

Sometimes some things I say are taken the wrong way so let me preface this with my intentions are pure and I do not mean anything by this.
I thought you sold all your stuff or did I miss an integral part of the scenario? Did you re-buy stuff again because you missed "The Boys" (Navy Seals reference)
If so that is cool I am glad that you came back, you should have heard their mewling... (I kid guys, I kid) though glad you came back just the same.

Nope it was on PS3. Go into a private match with the FAD, red dot, & kick and test it yourself. I try not to abuse the MP7 unless I'm in a laggy lobby or if I feel like going "try-hard" LOL.

I have a friend who lives with me...been using his console, his game. He never uses it. Will likely get into another console of my own when BO2 comes out because that's when he starts to play again.
I got a good price on my console and games....and the games were redundant as him and I both had copies of the same games.

I couldn't tell any real difference in the other guns when I tested them in a PM, but the recoil on the FAD has definitely been reduced since I was using it to get gold.

^It was a hotfix. The version should be 1.8.475.3
