I understand that the game can get very frustrating and when you're not doing well you want to rage quit.
But something I would ask, is that people don't just leave..we are a team.. and if we're going to lose.. than lose as a team. That's what comradery is about.
It's annoying when you're trying your hardest to cap flags, defend them.. etc.. for 3 people to just leave you hanging.
I would just ask that people stick it out, and we play together. Whether we lose or not. It doesn't matter.

Ok my bad.
My connections are so bad today I can't even find the playlist on COD4.
All I was doing was dragging the team down on BLOps and I hate that more than anything in this game. I think I had one positive game and all I was doing was bitching. That can't be fun for anyone cause it certainly wasn't for me.
And it's even worse playing with that connection against L3...impossible and anger-inducing.

lol, im guilty of it, because when connection drags, it drags hard for me. Hotel match, already 7-20, with campers and all that shit, lagging, i couldn't hit balls. i wanted to break my controller, so i left to cool off. i don't normally do it, but as of late I have because of how much its been lagging.
though in the dom match, we did pretty well. some lag, but not as much from that match.

I have been trying to cool off. You'll notice a subtle grinding of teeth and a dejected reply instead of a yell

I am guilty of this aswell and I do apoligize. Its just sometimes, I get so mad that I feel like breaking something. Rather than getting to that point, I just turn it off.
In the future I will try my best to not rage quit.

i'm sorry. my intention wasn't to make anybody feel guilty, or to have a conscience about rage quitting.
this game can be very frustrating..and yes it's better to quit than break something.
i apologise... perhaps i didn't put it down in the best way.
i guess the thing with me is... if i keep getting killed by BS tactics or come up against a clan who use cheap ass ways to get us. it just makes me more determined to get them back i find it hard to quit lol.
anyway.. i am sorry again. just wanted to say.. think it would be nice if when we're in a party.. we tried to stick it out to get the win. but of course it's ok if you want to leave.
i feel bad now!

if we all stay in the game, even if we lose, at least we're forcing them to beat us; when we leave we're just giving them the win....make those f**kers earn it
we've all made some great comebacks, you never know what'll happen with this team

Hey though, if/when I come back, I'm having a zero tolerance policy for myself for anger at the game because of the game problems. If lag is bad or I freeze up, I'm leaving. Avoids me having to deal with the anger of the game building up. I've already broken one disk...
Having gone through this, I know that getting angry at games sucks. And sometimes its best to just walk away, though I will try and make sure I leave while in the lobby or party screen, and not a game.

Spook I think every time you feel like raging just play around with the business end of your tazer/stun gun.

I dont' think I have left an objective game in a while unless there was a consensus to leave together. TDM....well, that's another story. I left that game last night lilac because of my 10-12 deaths, I may have seen 2 of the guys....and they were all point blank deaths.
When you can't see the person 8 feet ahead of you, because they haven't arrived on the screen yet, but they've come and killed you already.....it's just no fun.
Obj games, I figure just suck up the deaths because they dont' matter....keep switching guns till something works....and hope for unity to pull us out with a win. But when we leave an objective game, we are the people we talk sht about. I don't like it, but I'm not completely above doing it as long as we all go.

I also know that Moose hasn't played with us for long enough what can end up happening if we stick it out. I know he gets frustrated and bails in Dom quite a bit....but we've even pulled through a man short for an eventual win in those ones.
Moose, we all need to talk one another down every now and again....I've had my fair share of in game counselling. Let us convince you to stay and we'll usually pull something out that surprises us all.

Nice.
Sometime in TDM all I feel like I'm doing it geving kills to the other team by the dozen. I hazard a guess without the guy who played like he was AFK, they started getting a lot fewer kills, and the balance of power shifted.
I'm really struggling with connections right now. Had a spell last week where things were nice for a few games, but I'm not even able to see 75% of the people standing in front of me before they gun me down. it's BS.

^^Kaz. I think our ISP's must be in the same family
(I really think it's gone a bit squiffy after the map update).
And btw...when ever have I received in-game counseling? I think I seek attention non-stop and the only thing I get is... Syn: "We like to hear you in torturous complaint" (embellished a little but you get the gist)

I think mine might be 1:100 or so, if not more. Seriously. And the 1 game ends up getting torched after the first 3 minutes.
Even going it alone on local search only, it's trash. Apparently Puerto Rico is right down the street.
IMO, it's the way the game deals with people away from the "Hub"--if you live outside the east-central and east coast area of the US, you're fcked.

Along the same lines.. I'm sorry for bailing last night.. it wasn't rage or anything, i was actually doing pretty good in most my games last night.. the F'cking water system where i live kept going down, it's a restored 1920's era building and it always has problems, but last night they were having a wedding here and it was literally running out of water they were using so much stuff, and since i'm the Resident Ranger.. guess who get's to work on it until 1 am. So anyways, sorry again, i think most of you know I don't really bail and hopefully heard me excuse myself abruptly.
As for bailing not due to unforseen events, I get it and I know how frustrating it can be, but I think of it like this.. if it was a ball game of some sort, hopefully you wouldn't walk off the field mid game cause you got mad, or would you

Typically I leave because I "get the call" (fiancee needs to be retreived from the train station), but most of y'all know in advance when that call might be coming--that, or another pressing issue is sprung on me and I have to power down.
I have raged out a few times though....but usually to gtf off and get other things done rather than have my blood pressure just rise and rise.

#13344I'm not going to lie. I will leave if 1 of the 2 shits happen to me.
1. Lag and I can't walk without jumping 50 ft.
2. Lag and NOT seeing who is killing me or wasting a clip on air.
For the record, I won't hesitate to leave either but I won't leave you alone either.

ok see now i feel bad for making this lol.
if people get called because of issues in real life, of course you got to go. and when lag is that bad you can't even register a hit when someone is right in front of you, for them to kill you, and the KC to show.. you weren't even anywhere near them.
i don't want to make people feel bad about leaving, or to have to justify themselves for the reasons they will leave a game.
i just wanted to say.. when we come up against bs, or clans using bs tactics.. as chisa and kaz have said.. we often can turn it around and pull the win. and i think that's the most satisying kind of victory. annihilation is fun of course.. but coming from behind to beat a clan who think they're so superior and have the game in the bag.. well that's the best. for me anyway lol.

Ill admit I rage quite a bit. No denying that at all. The last time we played (like 2 nights ago) where I think it was me, you and Lilac, I didnt back out of that last game, but some idiot decided to run into a light pole 2 blocks from our house, thus ending any electricity for the entire house. As for the other, Id rather go ahead and back out rather than break my one remaining controller and/or throw it through the TV. I do need to work on the anger though.
