Eh, kind of late on this, I know, but I am wondering, since some of you have different carriers.
In the US, Verizon will now carry the iPhone, which seems like its network is much more stable than AT&T's.
Anyone on Verizon, and thinking of getting it?
I might buy one an iPhone 4 off contract soon. I need a 32GB version though. I have been looking, and my 3GS feels old. lol.

Im sick of smart phones. Extra 10-20 a month for them. BS. Ill keep my iphone and get a lame ass cheap phone. No more additional plan shit needed.
Im going to purchase a tablet soon. No not the ipad. SOmething that runs Wifi. So Smartphones can suck on that.

My wife's got an iPhone4 and she loves it, service is pretty good where we're at. Definitely get the 32gb version Scrub, she almost got the 16 or whatever and she's glad she didn't, she gets close to max data every month... so if you use your phone alot then i'd definitely go for the 32. As for Verizon, i've heard really good things as well and I think it would just come down to cost for me. Of course, I've got TMobile and a phone that barely text's, so what do I know LOL

I have the original 3G....8GB or soemthing little like that.
I have a 6GB data package though, which, if I streamed youtube videos 24/7, would never get used up.
As soon as I'm done with this phone, I'll be getting the newer incarnation of the iphone....probably an iphone 5, or whatever it turns out to be.
Except for some minor freezing and delayed page changes, I'm relly happy with it.
Texting can be laborious at times because the keyboard isn't all that friendly, but I don't text that much.

Sh1t. I pay about $80 a month for mine.
Might have to streamline it based on actually needs. Not gluttony.

No no no no no.
That $15 is an addon for that data package (unlimited bandwidth 200texts). The actual plan is part of a family plan. 4 phones for around $130 a month. Its the cheapest plan available through ATT I think. 700 shared minutes or something like that.

I know this thread is about iphone 4, but just wanted to put in, that HTC phones are pretty damn good. It depends what your uses are, but in my eyes, the Android OS has a lot of advantages over Apple's OS. Also Syn, as you said you're going to want to purchase a Tablet, HTC are bringing one out, and it looks pretty good. Except it will probably cost somewhere in the region of 900 dollars. I don't know why these things are so expensive lol.
