I'm going to break up my Vegas stories into digestible chunks, starting with the coolest part....the shooting range
Always knew there were ranges that allowed you to shoot different types of weapons not normally found (automatics, M203, M249 etc), so I decided to take the plunge. I got the "Soap McTavish" package, which included 4 guns
1. Glock 17
2. MP5 (full auto)
3. Remington 700 w/scope and bipod
4. Scar 17
In high school, I shoot .22 bolt action rifles for my high school, but that was nothing compared to this. I won't lie, I was a bit scared taking my first shots. Had a fear boner for sure
Glock: Honestly, I didn't care for it. Had a bit of a kick to it, but after the first couple of shots, i was able to get it under control and group my shots well. I prefer rifles to handguns.
MP5: Holy f**k. Was able to shoot about 5 magazines worth of shots. Started with small but controllable bursts (3-4 bullets max). First two are right on, then that sh*t starts to rise if you're not careful. Did one mag full auto, trigger down till it was out, possibly the greatest thing ever.
Remington 700: only 5 shots, but easily my favorite gun out of them...easy to control, loud, and super accurate. Scope made it a cheat mode
Scar 17: This thing scared the s**t out of me. Having never shot a 7.62 round before, the power and the air pressure off the sides of the gun made my face move. Kick was even more than I thought it would be. Iron sights right out of MW2. Unreal gun. Grouping was laughable as I was just happy I hit the paper. Would do it again for sure.
If you're ever in Vegas, hit up Machine Guns Vegas, they were all really cool (and all the women there were unreal hot).
I'll throw up some pics in a bit

Nice. I have a .308. My shoulder was sore after sighting it in.

Chisa - From what I hear, MASS is harsh on gun laws, like California. Probably will be a pain to get a license.
Syn - Come down to Texas and I'll take you shooting.

the AG here just banned AR15s.....lol f**k this state
It takes a bit of work, and you have to attend a class and shoot competently in front of the police to get your license
I have to get out of this state

In Texas, its around $200 - $240 for everything. However, I did have to attend a 5 hour class and shoot proficiency. I've had my license now for a year.
And Yes, move as far away as you can. I cant believe they banned AR-15's. The Florida shooter didn't even use an AR-15. WTF?

That place sounds great besides being in a cluster fk of people parade city.
Feel much more secure and accurate with rifles and shotguns. Pistols give me anxiety like I don't trust them and they'll misfire. But you can shoot 200 rounds of pistol with no issue, after a few rifle pops your shoulders will bruise.

They have an outdoor range where you can shoot m203 rounds into a car filled with gasoline
I'm definitely going back for more
