Here are what I picked from the video.

Reef will be a new tower, new objectives, new missions, new bounties, new armor, new weapons, ect.
Reef will have something called Prison of Elders which is said to be a Horde like mode where you can earn new items.
New House of Wolves weapons can be reforged. This allows you to retry getting perks you want for a weapon at cost of resetting your experience earned for that gun and materials.
More hidden ghosts.
New gear designs.
Speaker will be selling all old materials. Such as glimmer, shards, energy, motes, and radiant materials.
Level cap is said to be 34 you won't need the DLC to reach. All weapons and Legendary Gear can be ascended to level 34 gear requiring a new material. DLC is not required but will be slower to get those materials.
