ABOUT COD4BOARDS.COM
Call of Duty 4 is one of the hottest games on the market at the moment. It is the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] selling game in 2007, and still remains one of the best sellers in 2008, even beating Halo 3. It is the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] played game on Xbox LIVE, and probably PSN, and remains a favorite for PC users.
We offer COD4Boards.com as a way for users to not only find loads of useful, and content rich information, but as well as a friendly environment for players of all ages to post, share thoughts, and speak out without having the hate of other forum members bashing them down every other post. Our forum has also other areas of interest from computing, graphics and media, as well as a remarkably large recruitment area for members to find teams, teams to find members, and teams to scrimmage teams. We are also the source for all Call of Duty 4 news and downloads. Users have downloaded over 4500 files from our website.
We also have a dedicated Clan Area, users can customize profile viewing. (Almost like having your very own MySpace right on your Call of Duty 4 profile). Clans can make their owner team pages, and recruit members off our website as if they have their .COM! We have over 400 clans registered on our website so far.
COD4BOARDS.COM STATISTICS
COD4Boards.com generates 60 – 100 sign-ups per day, with roughly 330,000 page views per month (without new updates, patches, and information about the game). We receive 81K visits per month, from over 62K unique visitors. We expect that number to rise in June due to the Map Pack release on the PC. Traffic will probably also rise due to the fact that school gets out for the summer.
Our members have made a total of 15,000 threads, and 42,000 posts!

COD4BOARDS.COM MARKETING
COD4Boards.com has had over 29 stories on n4g.com (popular gaming social bookmarking sites), as well as other high-end/high-traffic websites (such as digg.com, xbox360fanboy.com, psu.com) with our content being copy/pasted across the internet. 78% of our traffic is based of search engines, 10% from referring websites, and 10% is direct. Most users are from English speaking countries (United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and Germany).
We also run a one of a kind beneficial point of posting/becoming a member on our forums. It's called "Win Prizes, Just for Posting!" where every time one of our members makes it to our giveaway mark we ship them a PC, PS3, or Xbox type gift (mouse, mouse pad, keyboard, headset, etc..) this has greatly influenced the activity of our members. Currently a user must make 550 posts, and we ship them a prize that only costs around $10-$15. So far we have only shipped around 1 or 2 prizes per month. It gives users a reason to stick around and increases visitor loyalty.
We do not use any other types of advertising, our members benefit from our content and spread the information via word of mouth. We do not pay for advertising elsewhere.
Search Engine Optimization
We only used "white hat" techniques such as social bookmarking, articles, and content optimization. We also purchased vBSEO to take care of the little SEO things in vBulletin such as URLs and duplicate content. As a result the majority of our traffic is from search engines such as Google, Yahoo, and LIVE.com.
Expenses
$35 - JaguarPC VPS -- This VPS should be enough, and is what the website currently runs on. The website currently uses around 300GB per month, this can jump slightly when patches/maps are released. But we also have a very good deal on a dedicated server if you wish to have more capacity and bandwidth. This can be transferable if the buyer wishes to have growing room ($150 per month -- Dual Core/Proc P4, 2GB RAM, 2 x 160GB HDD, cPanel/WHM, 2500GB Premium Mzima Bandwidth)Prizes: $15-$30 a monthStaffWe currently have 5 volunteer moderators, who moderate the forums, coordinate contests/event, and occasionally create content in the form of guides, etc. They will stay after the sale of the site. I will also stay for 30 days for NO EXTRA CHARGE to help with the transition. (For longer if buyer would like, and if compensated.)

Just some info about the website when it was starting to really hit its stride.
Crazy to see how much he was selling it for. Wonder what the actual sales price was?

To be fair I dont talk to anyone but Natas and Godz too much anymore.
I think thats because they still play games with me nightly.
I dont go on MSN or Skype or anything like that too often anymore.
Still chat here with ya though.
