The woman goes to Planet Fitness, she says they have this toning machine that does that to you. You stand on a platform and your total body tenses for a bit when you get done your whole body is sore from it. Muscle contractions I guess

Got me a new addition to the gym and it was completely free.
Can do 5 variations of push ups on it, has been used in clean and press like lifting a body up, sledge hammer routine, alternate toe touches.. It's nothing but a tire. Went to local shop and asked if they had an old one I could have. he said go grab one out the pile, found a set of 33inch all terrains that were just worn down. No holes, no blowouts, no wires sticking out. Just a 50,000 mile tire. Works great.

tweaked my squat form a little bit and the result was 235x10 with a lot more stability at the bottom.
on my last leg day i noticed that when i was coming up out of the bottom of the squat, my ass was doing an "S" motion trying to find the most stable leg to shift weight to. i decided to do pause squats and hold at the bottom for 2 seconds. i also realized my stance was too narrow.
so the pause squats made a noticeable difference and there was almost no S motion at all.

Usually keep feet at shoulder width. Too far apart and they try to bend inward. On front and sissy squats I put feet about 6 inches apart for full quad effect.
A great squat day usually results in 3am charlie horses that night. Even after a banana shake and getting electrolites in.

I do shoulder width, toes pointed away from center (left foot counterclockwise, right foot clockwise) about 15 degrees

That position is comfortable but it makes the knees follow the toes on way down. So I end up consciously pointing them back straight so knees stay in a horizontal form.

alpha the wider stance squat is better for glute and hamstring activation. i was standing at about shoulder width, then i moved my feet out a little more and pointed toes at an angle.

Will start doing those with lighter weight on free bar. The Smith is so limited in motion, it goes up and down at a 170* angle, not quite up and down so it's harder on form.
Did 6 days this week. And ran 2 nights, put in 2 miles in this humidity and you're drenched. Started running cause I was at 190lbs monday night lol, was still gaining after stopping the PH 3 weeks ago. And as of this past weekend, my back FINALLY stopped tightening up. Was worried it was some long term effect. Back at 110% in gym, going hard and pouring sweat with no nausea or dizziness. Maybe 4 days left on PCT bottle.

if you have a welder and some tube steel you can build your own power rack. or you can sell that smith machine and buy one.

The smith has dual top pulleys, a bottom curl pulley (seated rows), and pec deck, plus when I bench heavy I can set the supports. Wouldn't make sense to sell working out alone 99% of the time.
But the free bar attached to a front rack and its fully versatile. Just no fail support.

Deadlifted 325 for 2 yesterday, that was fun.
Pull ups are awesome. I can do 17 in a row with super good form. I've started doing weighted too. Did them with 40 pounds for 3 sets of 5.

Sounds like hella progress. Doing slack, it drops way faster than it gains.

i dont use no damn straps. i used to but then realized it would eventually hamper my progress. it sucks if you can handle the weight but your hands cant.
i am trying something new on bench press too. im gonna do a few weeks of pause presses. pausing at the bottom for 2 seconds instead of touch and go. makes it a lot harder. i was only able to get sets of 5 with 225.
