what's reasonable price on felines and what's stupid high?
just left a house with 2 sets of Bengal kittens. Beautiful cats. but the prices start at $1,000 for the ones with imperfections and go up by the hundreds.
I could see spending that on a dog. Hell I spent more than that on my African Greys. Just hearing it for a kitten had a wow factor.

for the 4 cats I've owned, I've paid about $125 each, which includes fixing and initial immunizations

Depends. I would pay that for a cat. The hospital has treated Greys and others that were worth 25,000 dollars and that is not even taking into consideration the emotional attachment people have to them. They are fun though. Getting them to say things is hilarious. Though now we have an expert on hand, or at call really, who has their own techs and carries their own insurance. Birds are very fragile.
Back to cats I have heard of some breeds going as high as 2k for a show quality kitten. Even higher for pick of the litter.
Bengals are supposed to be pretty expensive cats. Savannahs are a cross between a domestic cat and a serval now that is an expensive cat.

I looked up Savannahs last week. Up to $40,000 lol
I'd love to have that giant dog killer. I'll post some pics of the kittens when I get back on a router. Started asking about a few but the $1,500 on the one I wanted was too much.

Was aiming at the snow ones more than the brown. The 3 single pics are different cats I sent to gf before I asked prices.

Allergic to cats.. never liked em.
Just looked at prices online for Bengal Kittens. Most seem to go for between 800-3000.
